Earth has been taken over by demons and devils and other hellions of the underworld. The world is now chaotic and unruly; it's every man for himself. There's only evil in this world. Not even one devil has even a meager amount of good in them.
However, there is one rule that every demon lives by. Having taken the old human term "Stranger Danger," they modified the phrase to say, "Angel Danger." Children are told horror stories of flaming swords and holy words and mighty power that will swiftly bring any devil it its knees. Seeing an angel is incredibly rare. They typically stay up in heaven and don't bother with Earth's demonic inhabitants. It's drilled into every child's head that if you ever see an angel, the only thing you can do is run and pray to Lucifer's father that you don't die.
C1 is a demon, the worst of the bunch. C1 instills fear into everyone they see, intimidating everyone into pieces. But what do they do when they C2, an angel roaming the earth? And how do they react when they discover C2 isn't going to obliterate them? How do they respond to the fact that C2 is actually kind and compassionate, attributes they've never before seen in their life?

"And just what makes you think you can get away with this? Kieran said in a low growl, looking at the cowardly demon out of the corner of his eyes. He slowly stepped closer to him, taking as long as reasonably possible in order to unnerve the man. Kieran kicked him to the floor. He put his foot on his chest and leaned down, putting pressure on it. "What makes you think you can disobey me like this? That you can show up empty-handed and expect me to be alright with it?"
Kieran grabbed the man by the hair. "If you don't finish it by tomorrow," he said. "You are done for." He leaned up and took his foot off the boy's chest.
"GO!" he shouted. Immediately the demon boy scurried to his feet and scrambled out the door.
Kieran made his way to the window, looking out at the familiar view of the city. He was lost in thought until suddenly his eyes caught sight of something - someone unusual. His face changed from its vicious expression to one of shock and curiosity, unsure how to handle this sighting. -
Eivet walked through the demon-infested land, looking at all the evil and terrified looks she got. I guess I’m terrifying, she thought, a little sadly, as she saw some children running away from her.
Her content expression turned into a slight frown. Well, that’s disappointing. -
Kieran rushed down the stairs of the building. He couldn't have seen that right. Eventually he reached the ground floor and flew out the door. He saw the angel walking down the street away from him. He silently dashed down the street. People around looked at him like he was completely mad. Maybe he was. But he wanted to witness for himself whether the legendary power of the angels was true.
-
Eivet noticed a little boy stumble as he ran. She held out a hand with the intention of helping him up, but he screamed and fled. Eivet recoiled, a sliver of a sad feeling trying to surface. She shook her head to herself, bringing her mind back to her goal. She held her head back up and continued walking.
-
Was he smart for doing this? Most likely not. Was he going to get killed doing this? Most likely yes. as quiet as he could, he snuck up behind the angel. Without warning he clasped his hand over her mouth and held a knife up to her throat. Quickly, he ducked both of them down into a small alley.
-
Eivet’s heart raced and she let out a very muffled shriek. She grabbed her captor’s wrist, trying to yank away the hand holding the knife to no avail. Struggling against his grip, she glared as best she could.
-
Kieran pushed the angel up against the wall and held the knife against her throat. He glared at her, but also narrowing his eyes at her in curiosity.
"What?" Kieran scoffed. "No divine power to save you or something?"
