"i bake everything right here in my bakery. my mom taught me how to make macarons especially." Blaise beams. "they're my favorite thing to bake, that and croissants. i have a thing for France."

"Ooh. Sounds sophisticated. Verily."

"of course, i've never traveled. always wanted to, though." A beep comes from one of the ovens, and she takes a blueberry pie out of it, setting it in the window to cool.

Cole nodded.
"Can i have somewhere to sit?" he requested. "Standing is kind of... tedious." -
"oh, yea." she pulls a stool from a corner over to him.

"Thanky! You saved me from... the tediousness!" he said, blushing.

Blaise raises an eyebrow at him, smiling. "is that even a word?" she asks, chuckling a little.

"According to the dictionary, it is." He sighed. "Just... don't question me, okay?" Cole inquired. He couldn't help but laugh. "I'm having a day where I go through a silly phase."

Blaise laughs as well, then pulls the orange macarons out of the oven, putting them on a cooling rack. "we all have those days." she says, smiling.

"Of course we do..." he said, calming down. "...who wouldn't?"

"no one." Blaise says, and once the macarons cooled down, she picks one up and hands it to Cole, eating one too. "not bad."

"so, Cole. what do you like to do in your free time?"

Cole thought for a second, playing with something in his hand, then responded, "I like to nap."
