Blaise smiles. "you like to nap." she repeats, laughing a bit.

Cole laughs too. "Well, I spend 61 percent of my day awake, so it makes sense to nap,". He sighed and cleared his throat. "I'm more of a busy bee, so talking to you is fairly interesting, for realsies!" He then stood up from his stool, heading for the door. "Well, I've got to go now..."

"Nice meeting you, Cole." Blaise says, raising a hand and waving goodbye.

Blaise turns the sign on the door from CLOSED to OPEN, hurrying behind her counter and setting out the pastries for the day. -

Cole came rushing in the door but ran in a way he could handle. He accidentally bumped a chair on his way in, but he recovered quickly. Then, right as he came in, a frail woman, his mother, said "Hey, Cole! You forgot your sister's lunch!"
He gasped. "Sorry, mom. Can i stay here for now, though?" His mother nodded, then walked away slowly, contemplating. -

Blaise smiles, wiping down the countertops.

Cole grins at Blaise, embarrassed. "Sorry!" he said, slightly blushing.

"s'all right. want a macaron?" Blaise asks, gesturing to a sample pile sitting on a small plate on the countertop.

"No thanky," he responded. "I'm full."

"ah, i understand. how are you this fine morning?" she questions, trying to keep the conversation going.

"Meh. Busy as always. You saw me outside earlier running here..."

"i did." Blaise chuckles. "was that your mother?" she asks.
