Paxton chuckles to himself, "Is that supposed to be singing? It sounds like a screeching cat with a violent case of diarrhea."

"It's only because we aren't hearing them in water. We have bubbles around our head, which blocks it out. If we were to pop the bubbles, we would hear beautiful singing." Willow explains, swimming towards the sound.

"Don't pop the bubbles, I swear to god-" Vesper warns, but it was too late, Paxton gave into the impulsive thoughts and popped the bubbles.

Willow inhaled on accident, swallowing water. She grabbed the other two and swam upwards, bringing them all to the surface. "Paxton!!" She reprimanded him after she stopped coughing.

"What? I wanted to hear the beautiful singing you were telling me about." Paxton pouts and Vesper facepalms, "Idiot, you could've faced your inevitable doom just then."

"We'd be swimming to our doom, Paxton! They would've killed us if we went to close to their kingdom!" She said, agrreing with Vesper.

Paxton considers it for a moment, "You make a good point, but still, wouldn't it be amazing to hear it at least once and live to tell the tale?"
Vesper shakes his head in disbelief, "Not like we could with your recklessness." -
"No, Paxton. It's too much of a risk." Willow sighs. "It's good we got out of there in time."

Vesper nods in agreement to Willow, "That we can agree on." Paxton shrugs laying down in the sand, skipping a stone across the water. "Oh well, I tried."

"Yep. You did." Willow says, sitting beside him.
