"no!" she says, trying to swim away.

"Come back here!" Paxton laughs, diving down and getting her from underneath.

"Gah!" she says when he gets her. "Paxton!" she exclaims, her face red from laughing.

"I gotcha!" Paxton smiles, gently booping her nose with his index finger.

Willow wiggles her nose, shaking her head. "you got me." she says.

"I sure do." Paxton holds Willow close with a big goofy grin on his face.

Willow's face turns red, looking at Paxton with wide eyes. "uhm..." she says, her heartbeat speeding up.

Paxton tilts his head to the side, oblivious to it, "Are you catching a fever...?" He mutters, gently placing his hand on her forehead.

"n-no, i'm fine-" Willow stutters.

"Are you sure? You're all red-faced..." Paxtons eyebrows furrow with concern, as his face comes closer to Willow as he does a quick body scan.

"yes, I'm sure!" Willow says, trying to back up. "I'm just flustered..." She mutters under her breath.

Paxton manages to catch that last bit, a curious expression on his face says it all: "And why is that?" but he stays silent, still slightly concerned.

"you heard that last part, didn't you?" She says, sighing. "It's nothing."

"Well, why is that then, if you don't mind me asking? I won't pry if you're not comfortable with telling me..." Paxton mumbles softly.
(Poor Vesper who's watching this like-) -
"Because..." Willow starts, "because I like you. There. I said it." She says.
