"well, even if we wanted to, we can't until Mr. Potter gets here." Willow says, face falling.

"Uh. No? There must be others who speak Slytherin, right?" Paxton says, in doubt.

"I think Mr. Potter was the last one who could speak Parseltongue. anyways, he knows the Chamber better than anyone else in this school." Willow states.

"Understandable. So...we're just on standby until he gets here?" Paxton asks.

"i guess so..." Willow looks at the Mirror. "when will you be here?" she asks, a little eager. "we'll be there by, say, tomorrow afternoon?" Ron answers.

Paxton and Professor Sullivan wait with anticipation for their answer.

"oh, right. they say they'll be here tomorrow afternoon." Willow says.

"Woo! I guess that means we retire back for the day then. How many classes do we have left?' Paxton inquires to Professor Sullivan. "None. The day is already over and dinner is being served now."

Willow's eyes look like they're about to pop out of her head. "well we'd better get up there so we don't miss it!" she says, then looks to Paxton. "race ya." she says, then starts running as fast as she can.

Paxton rush out and eventually passes Willow. He made it to the dining hall's door first and actually waited for her to catch up.

"okay, you win." Willow says in between winded breaths. they walk into the dining hall and take a seat.

Paxton laughs, "Like I said, longer legs cover more ground, unfortunately you do not have those, with your stumpy corgi legs-"

a thought occurs to her as she laughs. "wait, should we tell Headmistress McGonagall?" she asks

"Uuuhhh. If you want to..." Paxton shrugs.

"hm... i guess not until it gets bad enough that we have to evacuate." Willow states. she reaches out and grabs a chicken leg off a nearby platter.
