After everyone dies, the first thing they see is black; the black depths of water. The ferryman of the afterlife, however, will pull a soul out of the water if he sees worth in it; he will row the soul to the be sent to the Gatekeeper to be judged. The Gatekeeper is a pure being, who balances your story out to decide the soul’s worth; if the soul lies to her about its story, she will punish it by making it a Liar Bird, which is a soul who takes the form of a seagull, and never leaves the black water; it is never allowed to step foot near the Gatekeeper again. However, if your story balances out and the Gatekeeper decides the soul’s story is worth the time, she’ll send it back to the very beginning… where the story first began.
C1 (can be an NPC) is a ferryman, who pulls out souls of the black water he sees worth in. He pulls out (# of however many people would like to join) souls, and asks you all to tell your story before you’re judged by the Gatekeeper. After all of you are finished telling your story and you’re at the foot of the Gatekeeper’s entrance, he asks you several questions based off your life, before finally you’re with the Gatekeeper to be judged. If you tell the truth, your entire life restarts, and you’re sent back to the beginning. But if you lie….

Name: Rylie "Vinny" Vincent
Age when death occurred: 23
Gender: Female
Orientation: Cishet
Religion: Agnostic
Skills/talents: Works quite well with technology.
Appearance (in first life): Roughly 5'10, Light-Brown hair. Light amount of freckles. Her eyes were silver, somehow. Her skin was a bit tanned around her wrists, ankles, and face. Otherwise, she was rather pale.
Personality (+): Quite persistent, unless she knows that something won't work. Very understanding, and doesn't usually stay mad for long.
Personality (-): Sometimes keeps to herself, can occasionally be hard to approach due to how loud she gets. When she is mad, she does get quite rude, almost night and day from how she usually acts.
Bio: Admittedly had room temperature IQ when she was younger. She lived a pretty good life, all things considered, but there was a period (between ages 16-19) where she was incredibly edgy and unapproachable. this was warranted, as her father had been kidnapped at this time, and by the time she was 18, he was discovered to have died by poisoning. The killer was never caught. She received therapy, and got better, but still thinks about what happened when she thinks she's alone. Otherwise, she had a pretty good life.
Other (1): The only time she ever dated someone, the guy's parents forced him to break up with her, due to an unwarranted, irrational distrust they had for Riley.
Other (2): She died in a car crash. The man who "did it" was arrested for vehicular manslaughter, but was released later after it was discovered that his car was tampered with. The man who did it was found and arrested almost immediately. -

Bio: Nelson (nicknamed Nellie) was a relatively quiet boy who found joy in observing the world around him
