Ami sighed. "You can tell me anything you know."

"I'm just nervous about you. I don't know, you seem ... different."

Ami shook her head. "I know."

Zumae nodded and went silent again, staring at the floor.

Ami looked at them and titled her head up. "Do not let that stop you from loving me. Ok?"

Zumae swallowed and nodded. "O-okay."

Ami smiled. "Please do not be afraid of me."

Zumae met her eyes. "But I am! Because you're so different!!" She cried fearfully.

"It is ok. I will not hurt you." Ami said kissing them.

Zumae let her fears melt away in that kiss. "I love you." She said, rubbing her forehead and nose against Ami's.

Ami smiled. ",Thank you for understanding."

Zumae nodded. "Of course. What happened, anyway?" She asked, brushing her hair out of her face.

"That, I cannot say." Ami said shaking her head.

"Why not? You can tell me. Unless you don't know." They said quietly.

"You are right. I do not really remember what happened." Ami said sighing.
