Devon blushed, his ears going down to the side. They tried to move but their body said no. They couldn't move from Sakura's side and he purred since it was the only thing he could do.

Sakura tried to get him off her but failed miserable. "Go call someone."

They tried again to move, but physically couldn't. "I can't move, Sakura. I physically can't!" He cried, his body paralyzed.

"Why?" Sakura asked curiously. She tried to get up but couldn't.

"I don't know!" They wailed, starting to cry. "I need to, I know, but I can't!!" He tried again to move but couldn't.

Sakura got up. She made him fall to the ground. "Now?"

Devin tried to, but his body wasn't complying. "No. I still can't!!" They cried, only able to move their head.

Sakura helped him up. "Are you ok? Do I need to call someone?"

They collapsed against her, whimpering. "This happened before... Back when I was, ya know, possessed..." He forced themself to try and stand on their own, only to fall again.

"Ok. I'm going to call someone—" Sakura stopped mid setence and fell on top of him.

Devin whined in pain and sighed. "Can you move?"

Sakura didn't answer. She just was silent. Her eyes were closed. She didn't make any movements.

Devin wailed, unable to move. "Sakura!!! Please!! I- I -------" They hissed and felt a sharp stab of pain in their back.

Sakura woke up the second he called her name. "OH MY GOD! ARE YOU OK?!"

"I can't move." He hissed weakly. "It hurts, but I can't move!!!"
