Let's go at least a few months later.)
Sakura smiled. She was thinking about her friends from fifth grade. Especially her best friend. -
Devin had stayed with Sakura for a bit, and currently was asleep on her couch, curled up with his tail around their face.

Sakura walked to the living room. "Hey Devin. I have a surprise!" She exclaimed kissing his head.

Devin whined a little, uncurling and stretching. "Hmm? What's that?" They asked sleepily, yawning immediately after.

Sakura reached for a box in her pocket. "Will you accept this lovely declaration of love and take this ring and um.... Marry me?" She said with a big smile.

They cocked their head sleepily. "You want me to marry you?" He was still tired and could barely comprehend what she was saying.

Sakura nodded. "Unless you're not ready yet that is."

They grunted. "No, no!! I'll gladly marry you!! Just... why'd you wake me up? You could've waited until I naturally woke up..." He mumbled at the end, yawning again.

"Sorry. I was just so excited." Sakura said. She smiled softly and kissed him.

Devin shook themself awake."It's fine! I will marry you! Gladly!! Can I see the ring?" He asked quietly, his tail starting to wag happily.

Sakura opened the ring box. It was a shiny gold and diamond ring. Sakura smiled and kissed him.

Devin gasped, their tail thumping the couch. Their ears stood up, their wings spread and he laughed. "It's beautiful!!!" He cried, taking the ring out and slipping it on. He started purring and they sniffed the ring happily.

Sakura smiled. "Glad you like it."

He glanced up at her. "Pet me? Please?" They asked, looking up at her.

"Of course." Sakura said petting him. "You're such a good boy."
