"We're fine. Thanks to this kid." Techno said pointing to Tracer. He noticed the smaller boy staring at Dream, then grabbed the mask. "Put this back on. Now. The kid's staring at you."
Tracer shook his head. "I'm Tracer. Um, I bumped into you earlier. Heard the fighting so I figured I might as well come out here and see what was going on. They want to take us to the palace. Over there." The small dragon demon hybrid added, pointing towards the massive castle on the outskirts of the city.
Dingoe stared at the smaller boy. What's that black fluid? He said something about ink earlier. Is that it? He wondered noticing the ink.
Lemon shrugged, starting to cry again. "I don't know!!!!! I'm not a doctor, Ranboo!!!!" -
Dream took the mask from Techno and hastily put it back on. He rose from his place on the ground, but almost collapsed again.
"No no no, don't cry, please. Everything should be okay." Ranboo whispered.
Amy groaned and reached for Lemon's hand. "Guys?" He murmered. -
*she
-
Dingoe tried to speak, but couldn't take his eyes off the child. He bit his lip, watching as he walked closer. Oh, my god. The limp. That kid is Tracer. That kid I f**king battered. I broke his leg. God, he's still hurt. But he's...... Kinda cute? I guess he is.
Tracer noticed Dingoe staring and met his eyes. The dog hybrid blushed, looking down. Tracer frowned, then looked at Dream. "Are you okay?"
Techno looked toward the palace. "Isn't that a government building? Because I don't like governments."
Lem screamed, throwing xemself at xeir sister. "You scared me!!!" Xey tried to his Amy, but then remembered xey were chained. -
"I-" Dream swayed slightly. "I'll be fine, thank you-" in his moment of weakness...he was truly a kind person. It sometimes scared people more than his darker side.
Amy tried to sit up but gasped in pain. "M-My knee I-" Tears started streaming down her face. Thankfully, small amounts of water didn't burn her.
"Hey, Hey, c'mere," Ranboo said. Since he was chained, he gently grabbed Amy and pulled her to him, and then put his arms over her and held her close. He made sure he was close to Lem as well. "We'll be alright, guys." -
Tracer bit his lip. He was confused at the kindness Dream was showing. Now and earlier. Dream seemed ... Off, somehow.
Techno moves closer to Dream, pulling his friend to the side, so Dream was leaning on him. "We can go with the gaurds or stay, though I feel like staying would be a bad idea."
Dingoe looked up at Tracer, standing slowly. He towered over the younger boy. Actually he was taller than Dream. At around 6' 4", he was taller at 15 than Dream was at 17. "Hey, umm, I'm sorry for hurting you before. I, uh, I didn't mean it."
Lem whimpered, burns lining xeir cheeks. "My cheeks hurt, Ranboo. They burn."
Karl gasped as one of the soilders came down the alley. He jped up and tried to run, but the soilder grabbed him and pulled him out of the alleyway, fighting and screaming. -
With Techno's help, Dream turned to face the soldiers, "What now?" He asked.
"I'm so sorry...Lem, I'll try and find a potion or something once we get...wherever we're going." He turned to Amy. "What's wrong with your knee?"
"I-" Amy gasped. She grabbed Lemon's hand. "I don't know." -
The lead soilder laughed cruelly. "All of you are coming with me. Your little friend is right. We're going to the palace. Youre wanted by the king."
Tracer looked at Dingoe. "Umm, I guess it's fine." He noticed the dog hybrid's disappointment and bit his lip. Impulsively, Tracer grabbed Dingoe's hands and looked up. "It's alright. I forgive you. Don't worry. We need to work together though. We'll need each other for this moment."
Dingoe blushed. "Of course, umm, Tracer, right?" The younger boy nodded, smiling. Dingoe blushed harder but put his hand on the child's shoulders.
Lem nodded, holding onto xeir sisters hand like it was a lifeline.
Karl fought until he felt something being put on his wrists. He realized that he was chained and gave up. Oh my god! What the honk is going on?
Tubbo had fallen asleep even before they were home. He was soaking wet and freezing cold.
George and Skeppy had fallen asleep. Skeppy cried himself to sleep and George had hugged Skeppy until he passed out. -
Dream noticed how Dingoe acted around Tracer and smiled weakly.
Amy passed out from both the effects of the potion and physical exertion. But she was visibly breathing and warm this time, so Ranboo wasn't worried. He continued holding his sister as he turned to Lemon. "Are you okay?" -
Dingoe looked up again, looking at Dream. He stared at the mask until the older boy looked away. He looked over at the other kid, Tracer and started blushing.
Lem nodded. "I'll be fine, Ran. I just need to control my emotions. Keep from crying."
Karl was dragged off towards the palace. He looked around fearfully, hoping that nothing bad was happening. -
"I-" Dream mumbled, both nervous and weak. "I don't t-think I can make it all the way there-" No one could see his expression, but his tone portrayed enough.
"You should sleep." Ranboo said softly. "We don;t know what'll happen next, and I-" He glanced down at Amethyst. "I don't know if I can handle losing her- losing her like we almost did today." -
Techno tightened his grip on Dream. "Do you have anything that we could ride in? There's no way he'd make it to the palace."
Dingoe frowned, moving to Dream's side. "Please help."
Lem nodded, yawning quietly. "Okay, Ran. I'll sleep." Xey yawned again, and leaned against Ranboo. -
Dream grew weaker by the second. The potion was losing its effect already, a sign that Dream's injuries were severe.
Ranboo lightly nodded and forced himself to stay awake and watch other them.
Wilbur laid Tubbo down in his bed and sighed. He turned to Tommy and sighed. "You know I'm not mad, right?"
Tommy looked up at Wil, confusion present in his features. "R-Really?" -
Techno shifted Dream back, grunting. "Dingoe, get on his other side. Keep him upright." He ordered. "Do you have a cart or something?" He asked the soilders.
One of them nodded. "Yes. We'll let you 4 ride in the cart and we'll take you back to the palace."
Tubbo shuddered again, rolling over. He was still cold and couldn't stop shivering. -
"S-S***-" Dream muttered. "I'm sorry-"
"No, of course I'm not-" Wilbur glanced down at Tubbo. "Oh s***...he's most definitely sick..."
Tommy rushed from the room and grabbed a heating pad he found. Wil had figured out how to use Redstone and other stuff to make it work, and he brought it to Tubbo.
