He tilted his head to the side, seeming to be debating on something, before he jumped back down into the ally -

I feel like everyone's already into the RP so I don't wanna interrupt aa TvT))
Belladonna jumped back instinctively, skidding slightly in the grime. She kept her bleeding hand close to her chest, eyeing the stranger, no, her soulmate with uncertainty. Could this be possible? Had it been some trick of the light?
She extended the hand with the string tied around her ring finger, the moonlight shining through and gently illuminating the alleyway. For the first time, she saw him somewhat clearly. Large wings seemed attached to his back and she found that his eyes were heterochromatic. One blue like hers and the other gold.
"I'm Belladonna," she breathed, her hand still extended out to him. Whether it was for a handshake or just proof that she indeed was his soulmate, she didn't know. Hopefully he wouldn't see it as some sort of threat. -
Nah its fine! We where really hopping you could join, you could already be in the tavern or just arriving to see Tech being a problem:))
Myriad tilted his head at her, his tail twitching behind him as she spoke. He made a quiet rumbling sound when she held her hand out, before deciding to mimic her, holding out his hand in the same manner. He appeared confused and uncertain about this situation, shuffing his wings -

*runs in* aGH I'M SORRY))
Belladonna felt like her heart nearly stopped. There it was, the String. The fateful, bright red bond between soulmates. It ran from his hand right to hers.
She felt faint, her brain sluggish. This is not how she'd expected the evening to go. She shook his hand, hesitantly but firmly all the same. "Would you like to go grab a coffee or something?" she said, before cringing and hitting her forehead with the bottom of her palm. "Sorry, that's stupid. It's the middle of the night." -
Myriad gave a sharp his when she hit herself, taking a step forward as he tilted his head, doing his best to try to understand what she was saying. He made a quiet sound, seeming frustrated, and tapped his wing claws on the ground.

Belladonna quickly stepped back when he hissed, trying to stay calm. She looked into the being's intelligent eyes, finding confusion there. Maybe he spoke a different language? She pointed to herself, her hand trembling slightly despite her efforts. "Belladonna."
-
Myriad tilted his head the other way, seeming to calm slightly. His gaze flicked between her hand and her face, slowly connecting the dots, before slowly lifting his hand and pointing at himself "Mutt?" He said, his voice sounding horse and confused. He then froze, hearing a shrill whistle, and terror flashed on his face before he lept up and out of the ally, scrambling across the rooftops to return to his Master

"Mutt..?" Belladonna repeated, looking confused but a little more at ease around him. "Do you think it's okay if I just call you M-" She was broken off by the shriek of a whistle, shattering the silence. When the being launched himself out of the alley, she stumbled back in shock and landed hard on her rear, biting her lip to not let out a cry of pain. She rubbed the area that had received the most impact, wincing. She would definitely feel that one tomorrow.
She stumbled to her feet, watching the string wave and bob as her soulmate traveled to wherever it is he was going. She tucked her hand close to her chest, closing her eyes briefly before turning and walking steadily back home. -
Myriad soon got back to the warehouse, slamming down off of the roofs and heading over to his Master, immediately kneeling down to avoid getting pushing. The man sneered at him "what the f--- took you so long, worthless mutt" he said, kicking Myriad in the side and knocking him over. "get inside"

Belladonna pushed her door open, looking inside of the dark room. It was covered in trinkets, a testament to how long she had been there, yet now it felt...empty. She flopped back onto her bed without bothering to change her clothes, exhausted. Before she slipped into sleep, she made a decision. Next time I see him, we can have a real meeting. Then again, I don't know where he lives...
