Quackity shrugged. “Xey could be anywhere. Umm, xey do have a sixth sense, I guess. Xey can tell when I need xem and teleport to me sometimes. Only sometimes. And if not, do you have any inns or whatever xey could stay at?” He asked, unfurling his wings and flapping them.
Karl nodded. “Yeah, there’s a couple. Two I think. Let’s check there. Cmon, Sapnap.” -
Sapnap nodded, reaching and grabbing for Karl's hand as they walked off.
-
Quackity sighed and followed them. “Let me do the talking. Lem can be … critical of certain ways. I’ve heard xem s--- talk peace and order. Then at other times mock the anarchy and chaos some people support. And after the festival, after all those conversations with Gold, Dream, Techno, even Bad, who knows what xey’re thinking?” He said, quickly taking Karl’s other hand.
Karl nodded and squeezed both their hands. “Okay. So I don’t talk to undefined political standing Ender. Got it.” -
"Alright," Sapnap said with a quiet chuckle.
-
Karl led both Sapnap and Quackity outside the palace and sighed. He glanced around, nervous about the Ender and the people in Kinoko.
Lem was just outside the palace, close enough to be seen if Karl had looked back slightly. “Well, look who’s a prince now?” Xey cried sarcastically.
Quackity whirled. “Hi. Umm, we’d like to talk about our wedding. Do you have time or are you doing something?” -
Sapnap watched, gently squeezing Karl's hand.
-
Lem chuckled. “Well, I was gonna go to Manberg to see what Gold was doing and maybe see if the rumors I’ve heard are true. But I’d choose wedding planning any day over that.”
Karl frowned. “What rumors?” He asked in confusion.
Quackity nodded. “Yeah, I haven’t heard anything. At all.” -
"Yeah, what are you talking about?" Sapnap asked skeptically.
-
Lem laughed slightly psychoticly. “Oh, well, some were saying that after the festival, people saw George and Dream together. Apparently, Dream is in Manberg now. But only to see George. There are rumors that these two are dating or that Dream is just manipulating George into giving him the country. I personally believe both. Which is what I wanted to find out. If these were true.”
Quackity frowned. “Hell, no. Why do you care so much? What’s the use?”
Karl stayed quiet. He glanced uneasily at Sapnap, but didn’t say a word. -
Sapnap glanced back at him, frowning a little.
-
Lem narrowed xeir eyes. “The use? Well, Dream isn’t the kind of person we’d want in control of a peaceful Manberg, correct? So everything that we just set up would be destroyed if he is really in charge. Besides, I don’t need Gold to get any ideas.”
Quackity shook his head. “Great. Go figure that out later. I’d rather not talk about that right now. We wanted to do something with our wedding. Can you help?”
Karl sighed, squeezing Sapnap’s hand nervously. “Yeah, please, let’s plan our wedding.” -
"Please," Sapnap echoed.
-
Lem nodded. “Of course. Fire, Time travel and gambling. Each of you stands for something and I need a idea of what to do. What you would like.”
Quackity shrugged. “Come inside with us. We’ll figure it out.”
Karl nodded, leaning his head on Sapnap’s. “We should make it memorable so I can’t forget it.” -
Sapnap smiled a little, nodding as he headed inside.
-
Karl led the others back inside, frowning as he tried to think of a place to take Lem and his fiancés. He decided the library would work fine so he led them all there.
Lem sighed and bit xeir lip. Xey didn’t know what to do about the library but figured it would be quiet.
Quackity smiled and grabbed Karl and Sapnap’s hands. He leaned on Sapnap and kissed his cheek. “I love you.” He whispered.
