"I agree," Sapnap said with a quiet chuckle.
"What was the dream?" Skeppy asked quetly. -
Karl nodded. "Forget the earlier plan. I like this one better."
Quackity chuckled, pulling back so he could see Sapnap's face. He kissed his cheek gently then laid his head back down.
Gold shook his head. "Nothing. I'm fine. Honestly. Th- the dream doesn't matter."
Bad frowned. "No. Tell us. What was the dream? You're obviously upset. What's wrong?" -
Sapnap smiled, holding Quackity close.
"Yeah, it's okay," Skeppy said. "Tell us, please." -
Gold whimpered, sitting up and covering his face with his hands. "Festival. Poisoning Bad. Slipping back into memories of my old family, seeing Techno slaughter them." He refused to look at Skeppy or Bad and bit back tears.
Bad glanced over at Skeppy. He must still blame himself. And he's probably still scared of Techno. He mouthed. -
Skeppy frowned. "Aw, Gold," He held the boy close, sitting up. "Breathe for me-"
-
Gold started crying. "I'm sorry..... I'm trying to, I'm sorry....." He hid his face in Skeppy's shoulder, crying harder.
Bad shook his head. "No, Gold. Goldie, don't be sorry. You've done nothing wrong." He hugged Gold and Skeppy, trying to comfort the smaller boy. -
"Don't be sorry," Skeppy repeated, holding Gold close. "It's okay."
-
Gold sniffled, nodding. "Okay. I feel bad, though. I get here and instantly have a bad dream."
Bad shook his head again. "So what? You used to get them all the time, you muffin. We'll always be here for you, okay?" -
"Don't feel bad, you can't control it," Skeppy said.
-
Gold nodded again, raising his head and wiping his tears away. "I ... I just hoped they'd go away when I came here. That you two would help me, but I didn't want you to know about them."
Bad shook his head. "We can't help if we don't know how to help. You can tell us anything Gold. I promise we'll listen." -
"Yeah, don't be scared to tell us anything," Skeppy said quietly.
-
Gold nodded. "I just didn't want to remind you guys off that day."
Bad sighed. "I think about it anyway. There is no way to ignore what happened then. But I got you back. And we got rid of Schlatt." He ruffled Gold's hair and smiled. "Just think of the good if you need to think of the festival. Don't think of the bad, okay?" -
"Yeah," Skeppy said with a smile.
-
Gold nodded and hugged Bad. "Okay. As long as you guys can help me, I should be fine. How ... how late is it? I mean in the morning?"
Bad hugged back, rubbing the hybrid's back. "Of course we'll be here! And I think around 11. I'm not sure.*
Gold gasped. "That late?!?" -
"It's not that late," Skeppy said with a chuckle, ruffling Gold's hair.
