George sighed, shifting slightly. "Anything you want to do specifically? We can always do one last thing together, whatever you want before you leave."
Karl frowned. "Quackity, we're here to talk. Or just to hold you if you want that."
Quackity swallowed nervously, shifting his wings. "I- don't know... Maybe just- I-" He stopped speaking looking down in shame.
Gold flinched, pushing himself as far back into the closet as he could. "G-go aw-away...." -
“I just wanna hold you,” Dream said, wrapping his arms around George. “And I won’t stop until the second I have to leave.”
“Hey,” Sapnap said. “Think about what you wanna say.”
“Why? I wanna help,” Skeppy said. -
George smiled, leaning back. "I like that idea." He turned a little, cuddling against Dream.
Karl sighed, glancing over to Sapnap. He was worried about Quackity, more than usual.
Quackity hesitated. "I-Just more times he hurt me, attempted to hurt me, fought, argued, screamed at me. It's just all that stuff. Repetitive. I was fine for a while and then it all comes back..." He tugged down on his beanie, squeezing his eyes shut.
Gold sobbed, rocking himself back and forth. He purposefully slammed his head back into the wall and sobbed harder. He whimpered. "You can't help!!" Gold cried. "It never works! It never helps longer than the moment. It will never work!!" -
Dream laid back on the bed, sitting in silence for a moment before tears filled his eyes. He cursed himself for it, but he didn’t want to loose George again.
“I’m so sorry Quackity, you didn’t deserve any of that,” Sapnap said quietly. “And it will never happen again, I promise.”
Skeppy frowned deeply, his feelings getting a little hurt there. He brushed it off though, moving next to Gold and placing a hand behind his head. “But that’s the road to healing. You can’t heal at all if you’re just letting them happen.” -
George tilted his head up. "Dream? What's wrong?"
Karl nodded, sighing. "It'll never happen again. We both will make sure of that."
Quackity nodded, but he sniffled. "I- yeah, I get it. It doesn't help that I can't shake it off." He teared up and choked out a breath. "I didn't mean to do this..."
Gold shrieked, recoiling back from Skeppy. "It doesn't matter anymore!!" He screamed, hitting Skeppy. "It will never get better!" -
Dream flinched a little, only humming shakily and hiding his face in George’s neck.
“Hey, it’s okay though,” Sapnap said. “And I’m really sorry that it’s stayed with you like this. If I could take away all the pain I would.”
Skeppy flinched slightly. “Gold I’m sorry you feel this way, but it’s not true, I promise.” -
George frowned, gently rubbing Dream's head, starting to hum. "I'm here. I love you."
Quackity managed to nod, tears trailing down his cheeks. "I don't know if it would ever work..."
Gold turned away. "It is. It is true!!!" He sobbed and covered his face. "Just go away!!! Leave me be..." He spread his wings out and covered his body with them, hiding his face. "Just go... It'll never help." -
“I love you too,” Dream mumbled quietly.
“Maybe not, but I’ll be with you until you’re okay again, okay?” Sapnap said.
“Gold, please you’re not thinking straight. Can you take some deep breaths with me?” Skeppy said softly. -
George nodded, ruffling Dream's hair.
Quackity nodded, sobbing. "I love you guys so much..."
Karl smiled. "I love you too, Quackity. I just want the best for you."
"NO!" Gold cried, pushing Skeppy away. "Go away!! You can't help me!!! Just leave!!" He cried, sobbing and rocking himself back and forth. -
“I love you so much,” Sapnap said with a smile.
“I’m not leaving you alone, Gold,” Skeppy said quietly, trying to stay calm. “Why do you suddenly want to push me away?” -
QUackity covered his face, trying to hold back his sobs. "I- I'm trying to be strong for you two. Trying not to show how much it upsets me." He bit his lip, shuddering convulsively.
Karl moved to Quackity's side and wrapped him in a hug. "Shh, you're alright. You don't need to be strong for us, you can show your weakness."
Gold hiccuped, tears streaming down his face. "It never helps me. It never will. Just go away and stop wasting your time!" Gold sobbed. "Go away. Stop waiting for me to be okay or trying to help me. It'll never happen!!" The boy gagged, making himself sick as he made his panic attack much worse. -
“Yeah you can let it out,” Sapnap said quietly.
“I’m not wasting my time,” Skeppy shook his head, his heart breaking a little as he forced himself to stay. “Gold, I hate seeing you like this, and if I can help at all I want to. Please try and calm down-“ -
Quackity melted down at their words, sobbing heavily. "C-can you two just hold me?" He asked weakly, bringing his hand to his mouth as he tried to muffle his sobs.
Karl nodded, softly rubbing Quackity's back. "It's alright, honey. We're both here."
Gold choked on his next words, unable to make his mind function properly. "Y-you are too!! You only hate it because you promised me and Dad you'd help me. You don't really care!!!" Gold screamed, throwing his body against the wall. -
“Yeah, we got you,” Sapnap said gently.
“I promised that because I genuinely want to help you,” Skeppy jumped a little, moving next to Gold. “Gold, please stop hurting yourself.” -
Quackity nodded, trying to calm down. "I just- It hurts too think about. I thought he loved me. I thought I loved him..." The winged man sobbed. "I was wrong, so wrong..."
Karl frowned, gently swaying side to side to calm Quackity.
"NO! It doesn't matter anymore." Gold sobbed, trying to put more distance between him and Skeppy. "There's no way you ever could have liked me, let alone loved me. Look at what I am!! I don't need you... Go away."
