Gold squirmed out of Bad's arms and got out of the bed. "It doesn't matter anymore! I'm always being a burden! Always coming to you with nightmares and panic attacks. You never have time for yourselves anymore!!" He cried, trembling as he backed away from them.
Bad frowned. "Gold- hey we want to help. We really do."
Quackity sighed, cuddling against Sapnap. "Thanks for listening to me."
Karl smiled. "Of course, my dear."
George stretched again. "I'm glad we're together. I'm gonna want your help with the letters too." -
“No, Gold, it’s okay,” Skeppy quickly sat up, reaching his hand out to Gold.
“Of course,” Sapnap said with a smile.
“And help I will be,” Dream said with a smile, reaching over to his mask. -
"No it's not, no it's not!!" Gold screamed, backing away. "I take everything away from you! You can't even have personal time anymore! I'm always in your hair. I'm a f**king problem!!"
"Gold, please..." Bad pleaded, sitting up.
Quackity sighed, half-closing his eyes.
George smiled, streching again. "Thank you." -
“Gold you are not a problem,” Skeppy said. “Please come here.”
“Of course,” Dream smiled at George before standing and putting his mask on. -
Gold shook his head. "No, no, no!! I am! I have always been a problem!!" He growled quietly and back up, his back hitting the wall. "Just admit it!! I'm useless and a burden!!"
George brushed his clothes off carefully, looking at the flower crown he and Dream made yesterday. "Okay, two letters, Quackity and Karl." -
“Gold, calm down,” Skeppy said. “I can’t admit that, it’s not true.”
“Yep,” Dream nodded. “Are we going to your office?” -
Gold threw himself back against the wall and slid down it. "I'm such a problem... always causing issues... always having melt-downs or breakdowns... I f**k up all the time..." He whimpered, choking up. "I'm useless. It's the truth..."
Bad frowned, going to comfort Gold, but thought better of it. "Skeppy, see what you can do. He talks to you more than he will me."
George sighed and nodded. "Yeah, my office should be fine. And if we run into Tommy, same thing as yesterday applies." -
Skeppy quickly moved to sit next to Gold. “Gold, I love taking care of you, and I don’t care if I don't have any personal time, I promised to take care of you and I will never give up on my promises.”
Dream sighed. “Alright.” -
"That's the problem!! I'm 19!! I should be able to take care of myself..." Gold sniffled, pulling his knees up to his chest and hiding his face. "I'm too immature and can't even handle myself... I should be able to... This is the second breakdown I've had today. I'm too clingy. I'm too attached. I should just leave..."
George glanced up at the younnger male and sighed. "For his safety, my sanity, and your mental stability, please?" -
“No, it’s okay Gold,” Skeppy said. “It’s not your fault, and we’re helping you through it. Gold please don’t leave.”
“Of course,” Dream nodded. -
Gold went silent, starting to cry again. He squeezed his eyes shut, hoping that maybe he'd wake up as a 12-year-old again, carefree, in Bad and Skeppy's old house. He sobbed, trying to see where he went wrong.
Bad frowned, shaking his head. "Gold, we want you here. You don't need to leave."
George smiled. "Thank you, Dream. I - well, you get it." -
“Gold we love you, we don’t want you to leave,” Skeppy said quietly.
Dream chuckled a little, reaching out for his boyfriends hand. -
Gold curled up tighter, trying to avoid speaking. He was afraid his voice would betray his emotional turmoil, afraid of being open with himself and other people.
George gently took Dream's hand, squeezing it. "I love you." -
“Gold, hey, look at me, please,” Skeppy whispered.
“I love you too, lets go,” Dream smiled, heading out to the hallway. -
Gold barely lifted his head, just turning his head a little to the side. He sniffled and started to tremble, half out of fear of what Skeppy was going to say and half because of his emotions.
George smiled, trailing behind Dream. He thought about a few things he could say to Karl and Quackity.
