Skeppy hummed quietly, rubbing his back.

Gold sighed and slowly started falling asleep.
George woke up in confusion, his dreams strange and terrifying. "Dream?!" -
Dream blinked, coming back from zoning out. “George?”

George whined and covered his face. "I'm confused and scared. My- my dreams!!"

“Hey, c’mere,” Dream enveloped George in a hug.

George hugged Dream back and sighed. "They just confused me. Like before. The one I told you about at the festival."
(He won't remember it, will he? Because of the time gap?) -
“Yeah,” Dream said, although a memory didn’t pop up.

George frowned. "Where you would hurt me." He whimpered, trembling a little. "The dreams stopped after the festival and now they must have come back. I don't want them to though!! Because they're just going to hurt me!!" He cried, hiding his face in Dream's shoulder.

“Hey, the dreams aren’t real, okay?” Dream assured him.

George sighed and whined a little. "B-but they seem so real!!" He cried, comforted by Dream's presence but something else telling him to back away.

“Well they’re not, I promise,” Dream said, getting a little tired and yawning.

George smiled and nodded. "Okay. Thank you, Dream. Are - are you tired? Because we can sleep again. If you want."

“Mm- No, no,” Dream lied, shaking his head.

George smiled. "Okay. Can you just cuddle me until I fall asleep please?"

"Mhm," Dream said, heading leaning onto George's and the man immediately fell asleep after kissing his boyfriend's head.
