Karl nodded, laying next to Sapnap, close enough to Quackity to feel him. "Goodnight, sweetheart." He said, reaching up and touching Sapnap's jawline.

Gold started crying harder and threw his arms around Skeppy's neck. "C-can you hold me for a minute and take me away from them?" He asked, referring to Bad and Lem. "I should talk about it!!" He squirmed a little and coughed, deeply upset.

Sapnap smiled, gently taking Karl's hand. "Sleep well."
"Of course, of course," Skeppy said softly, gently picking Gold up and heading up to Gold's room. -
Karl smiled and his eyes fluttered shut.
Gold sniffled again, trying to calm down. He squeezed Skeppy tight, using Skeppy as a relaxer and a calming person right now. "Y-you're so c-calm." He said, slowly calming down a little. -
"Yeah," Skeppy said softly, sitting on Gold's bed.

Gold sighed. "Calm, calm, Gold, calm. Stay calm, stay calm." He told himself, resting his head on Skeppy's shoulder.

"Mhm, deep breaths," Skeppy said.

Gold inhaled deeply and sighed. "I- I think I'm ready." He said quietly, still hugging Skeppy.

"Alright, you can say whatever you want, and you can stop at any time," Skeppy said.

Gold nodded and stayed close to Skeppy. "I- I'm afraid to sleep. I- I'm afraid of my dreams and every time I-I close my eyes, I - I see something from my nightmares." He panted a little and whimpered, trembling. "B-but I-I kn-know I-I need the sleep, I just don't want to close my eyes."

"Yeah, okay," Skeppy said softly. "I get that, that's tough. I'm glad you know you need the sleep, and, Gold, I will be here for you through all the nightmares, okay? All of them."

"I'm just scared!!" He cried, clinging to Skeppy and hiding his face. "I'm afraid to sleep!!" He whined and sobbed. "Every time something bad always happens to me!! And I don't want it to!!" Gold shivered, crying and wiping his face.

“I know, I know,” Skeppy said, gently rubbing Gold’s back. “But you’re so strong. You get over them, every time.”

Gold sobbed. "I'm strong?" He asked shakily. "B-but now, I - I closed my eyes a few hours ago and saw the man from my dream. I-I know who he is." He scratched at Skeppy's back and sobbed.

“Who is it?” Skeppy asked.
