Bad smiled. "I get that. But Gold is making dinner. Can you stay awake long enough to eat?" He was kind of tired himself if he was being completely honest.

“Fiiiine-“ Skeppy said, lifting his head a little.

Bad chuckled. "Do you wanna talk to Gold? Try and figure out what's up with him or just relax here?"

“Lets just relax here,” Skeppy mumbled. “He’ll get mad if we try and make him talk.”

Bad frowned and nodded. "That's true. Do you think he's a little different since he went with Quackity? Or is it just me?" He kissed Skeppy's forehead again and smiled at him gently.

Skeppy shrugged. “Maybe a little.”

Bad sighed. "Okay." He fell silent, just hugging Skeppy.

“I love you,” Skeppy said quietly.

Bad smiled. "I love you too, Zak. A whole lot."
Gold sighed, pulling the apples out of the oven and putting the pork chops on a plate. He came into the living room and smiled sadly. "Dad, Uncle Skeppy, dinner's ready." He said quietly. -
Skeppy lifted up his head and nodding climbing to his feet and grabbings Bad’s hand before heading into the kitchen.

Bad chuckled and followed Skeppy and Gold. When he got close enough to Gold he grabbed the boy's hand.
Gold smiled gently. "It's all next to the stove. I hope you guys like it." He said, his voice still quiet, with a tinge of sadness in it.
Lem watched the family happily. Xey loved the way they were all so close. -
“Thanks Gold,” Skeppy said, smiling brightly at Gold.

Bad nodded. "But you don't always need to cook, Gold. You can let me and Skeppy try one night."
Gold nodded. "Okay. But he doesn't know how to cook..." The little hybrid pointed at Skeppy and smiled back at him. -
“But- I can tryy,” Skeppy said with a laugh.

Bad laughed. "Like I said, he is usually in the room when I make muffins. Though he usually only eats the chocolate chips and licks the spoon and all that."
Gold giggled. "Well, I wouldn't recommend making muffins for dinner." He moved over to Skeppy and hugged him.
Lem laughed. "I can help too. If needed."
