"Oh no...do you want medicine or anything? Or is it not that kind of sick?" Karl asked. He was genuinely worried, but trying not to be pushy.
-
"I don't know," George replied quietly, pretending to be intrigued by something on his phone so he didn't have to make eye contact.
-
Karl sighed and glanced over at Nick. He watched his boyfriend for a moment before blushing and looking away.
Clay put the empty grocery bags in the trash. "Man....I hate these-" He muttered. -
"Why?" Nick asked with a chuckle, handing him the last empty bag.
-
"Because they're so pointless!! You use them once and then throw them away. They end up in beautiful places like parks and oceans and completely ruin them, and hurt the animals that live there. It's so sad and annoying," Dream went off on a rant about pollution. He absolutely hated it. "That's why I rarely ever use the plastic water bottles, or why I don't have plastic silverware in my car."
-
"Fair enough," Nick said with a shrug. "Anyways- uh, is there a reason you're both up?"
"We're going to do something," George stated, finally looking up from his phone. "You two can come if you want." -
"We haven't exactly decided what we're going to do, but something fun nonetheless!" Dream added.
"Oh cool! I wanna go!" Karl said excitedly. -
"Yeah, we're definitely coming," Nick said with a chuckle.
George nodded a little, reaching up to rub his eyes. -
"What are we gonna do though?" Karl asked.
"Hmm...I'm not sure. We've gone to the beach already..." Clay gasped and turned to Nick. "Is there fourth of July stuff yet?? Sometimes they'll do festivals and parades, right?!" -
"I mean, yeah?" Nick said hesitantly. "Probably. But are we really gonna bring the British guy to a forth of July festival?"
-
"Okay okay yeah...we're eventually going to see fireworks though. Not even as like a celebration of freedom or whatever, really just because they're cool." Dream said sheepishly.
"Well if there's a festival, tons of people will be there-" Karl said, lost in thought. "Doesn't that mean that a lot of places will be kinda empty? Like the amusement park near here?" -
"That's true," Nick said, pointing to Karl in agreement. "How about that?" He said as he turned to George.
George shrugged. "Sure, whatever." -
"You don't sound very enthusiastic, Gogy," Clay teased.
Karl smiled and walked over to Nick. -
"I don't really care much, I just want to get out of the house," George said.
Nick smiled, ruffling Karl's hair. -
Clay chuckled. "Then out of the house we shall go-" He said dramatically.
"Hey-" Karl batted Nick's hands away and playfully scowled
