"I'm doing fine," George said quietly. "And no we don't. Can we just... talk like we normally do? I've missed you," He whispered.

Matthew smirked. What did I say? He'll just come running back- "Uh, yeah. I-I missed you too." He replied.

"Um," George paused. "How's the weather been in London?"

"Really, REALLY rainy. It's kind of annoying." Matthew replied. "I almost wish I was with you in Florida."

"It's really hot down here," George said with a chuckle. "Like- annoyingly hot. The beach is kinda nice though."

"I Love the beach, man." Matthew knew exactly what he was doing. "The breeze always feels nice,"

"It does," George said with a smile. "I wish you could come down here too. And we could go to the beach together."

"Hey, I could come down there! What if I stay for a couple of days and then bring you home?" Matthew said, infusing his voice with optimism and passion.

George's smile grew wider, and he nodded even though Matthew couldn't see him. "Yeah! You should do that, that'd be nice."

Matthew gasped. "I can! I'll pack my stuff now, if that's what you want!" Matthew knew perfectly well that George didn't...he'd just made him think that he did. He smirked and ran a hand through his hair.

"Yeah, sure," George said, just going along with it and not thinking it through.

"Bet, Babe! Want to talk about anything else, or should I go pack?" Matthew asked.

"You can go pack, I'll let you go," George said. "I'm excited to see you."

"I'm excited to see you too! Alright, love you! Bye!" And with that, Matthew hung up and sighed. "I win again," He said to himself.

"Bye," George hung up, bringing the phone down from his ear. His smile slowly faded, and the realization settled in. George just brought his abusive, cheating boyfriend to Florida, and invited him to his friend's house. What the f---. George started to panic, letting go of his phone and grabbing his hair.
