"It won't," Nick said optimistically, opening the car door and getting into the driver's seat.
Clay voice woke George up enough for him to open his eyes and see that they were leaving his room. "Hey-" He weakly protested. "I will give you one more chance to put me down. Because I was not lying when I said I wouldn't be talking to you for the rest of the day." -
Karl got into the passenger seat and sighed.
"I'm sorry, I didn't want to wake you up." Clay said softly. -
Nick looked over, ruffling Karl's hair with a smile.
George crossed his arms, looking away from Clay. -
Karl laughed and playfully batted Nick's hands away.
"Oh, please. I just didn't want to wake you up. Please!" Dream said desperately. -
"Oh, so that's how it's gonna be?" Nick said with a laugh, hitting Karl's hand right back.
"I warned you," George muttered. "I told you I didn't want to go out, anyways." -
"Yep!" Karl started playfighting.
"I didn't want to leave you alone. I was going to let you sleep, I just didn't want you to be left behind." Clay said sadly. -
Nick laughed, gently batting Karl on the side of the head.
"Fair enough," George muttered. -
"Grrr!" Karl grabbed both of Nick's wrists to prevent him from getting him again.
"So are you gonna talk to me?" Clay instantly brightened as he looked down at George. He carried him out the door and over to the car. -
Nick giggled a little, trying to get out of Karl's hold.
George shrugged, still looking away. -
"Nope-" Karl exclaimed as Dream opened the car door.
"Please-" Clay whispered in desperation as he placed George into the backseat. "I'm sorry." -
"I have to drive, Karl," Nick said with a chuckle, continuing to wriggle out of his grasp.
"It's fine, just shut up," George said. -
"Ugh, fine." Karl groaned and released Nick.
Clay's face fell and he said nothing as he closed the door. He walked around to the other side of the car and got in. -
Nick chuckled, shaking his hands before grabbing the key and turning the car on. He backed out of the driveway, heading to the beach.
George felt a pang of guilt from his statement but didn't say anything. He rested his head against the window, watching the passing scenery. -
Karl hummed to himself and scrolled through Twitter on his phone. He did his best to ignore hate comments, and found a post from Jimmy. "Oh, awww!" He said softly.
Clay glanced up at Karl. "What is it?" He asked weakly. -
"What?" Nick asked almost in sync with Clay, sparing a short glance over to Karl.
