Summer shook their head rapidly, clinging onto their bag like they depended on it. Well, they kind of did depend on it, since it held centuries of notes from important events, times, dates, names, literally everything. Summer wasn't going to admit that to the god of darkness and shadows, though.
Too risky.
"Err- th-these books are important and mostly f-full of writing. ." They explained in a low, but bluntly possessive tone. -
Ci-Annifyr watching this interaction with an amused grin before speaking up "kit, come here i have lots of things you can eat" he said, manifesting a portal to his demi plane; aka the plane of requirement as he liked to call it

They looked at the dog hesitantly and walked forwards. “…what do you have?”

"Depends, what would you like?" The primordial said with a grin as he layed down with his front paws crossed, cooking his head to the side

They waited a moment before saying, "WANDS. HUNDREDS OF WOODEN MAGICAL WANDS."

Edelweiss patiently summoned a host of ghostly hands that began to tidy up the castle, polishing half-eaten silverware, sweeping the floors, you name it. She looked tired after doing so, eating a stuffed potato.
"Well it's, er, I suppose pleasant to meet all of you. Most of you anyhow," she said, her long silvery robes draping over her slim, pale arms. "If it's wands you want, I'm sure we must have SOME in supply. Would rubber chickens suffice? The Chaos always insists upon having those in the castle." -
Summer slowly uncovered the book, shoving it in their bag and standing up, slinging it over their shoulder. "Who is 'The Chaos'?" They wondered out-loud, looking straight at the girl who spoke.

Elric glanced around, confusion written on his face as his eyes narrowed, tiny glints of light shining through. "Where am I?" He demanded, his torso brimming with newborn pain as he ignored it. -
(actually, I changed my character's name to Renyx cuz why not)
"Uh, aren't we in a kind-of-dark castle" Renyx responded, looking around the castle as she spoke. "Yeah, it kinda looks like that, but, however, it looks a little shabby and old here and there so maybe we can do some cleaning?" she said, walking around dramatically. -
Edelweiss glanced over to Summer and spoke with a kindly tone. "Oh! That's just the formal way to mention the God of Chaos, that big booming voice you heard earlier," she said.
She turned her focus to Elric. "You're currently in the castle of the God of Chaos, invited for a nice chummy dinner. Or so you all presumed."
Edelweiss whipped her scathing glare upon Renyx, crossing her arms. She faintly glowed red. "For YOUR information, it is not a shabby old castle," she said impatiently. "It's a charming antique and I'm its current keeper. So mind what you say about it."
Edelweiss returned to her normal, pale white glowing, smoothing her robes out. The ghostly hands she had summoned were laying out blankets and pillows, and had brought an assortment of wooden wands and silverware for Cats. -
He blinked once, twice, before settling down with a sigh. His muscles were still tensed, though we could sense there was no tension in any of the other creatures. They even seemed at home.

"Ok," Renyx said with a wink. "Then I'll just say it's a modern kind of castle." She said again, as she went to take a seat.
