"Not if you find a good way to remember it," George stated with a chuckle, grabbing a few notes from his binder and showing them to Clay. "Here are a few ways I've used,"

Clay looked over, reading the paper George wrote on. ”On, that’s kinda cool. Then I also just have trouble with like, the problem solving part, like trying to find area of the shapes. Honestly division trips me up so much.”

"Okay, so, whats the formula of finding the area of a square?" George asked, running a hand through his hair.

”Uh. Isn’t it length times width?” Clay asked hesitantly, looking over at George.

"Yep," George said with a nod. "And how do you find the area of a right triangle?"

”Uh, sh-t we just did this,” Clay muttered with an awkward chuckle, running a hand through his hair. “OH, multiply the height by the base, then divide it by two?”

"Yeah," George said with a chuckle, scribbling something down. "How about an isosceles triangle?"

“Wait, is it not the same as trying to find the area of a normal triangle?“ Clay asked, a perplexed expression on his face.

"Yep, it was a trick question," George said with a chuckle.

“Okay, I was about to say, that’d just be annoying if there were different ways to solve the area,” Clay said with a chuckle, leaning back in his seat.

"Yeah," George said with a chuckle. "Okay, what other shapes can you not find the area of?"

“Uh, I think I’m good with shapes other than that,” Clay replied, looking over at George. “A lot of the postulates are pretty confusing, though. I can usually remember then, kind of, but it’s the using them to solve problems that’s hard.”

"Okay, yeah," George said, pausing for a moment and thinking. "That, I think I could give you some problems, and i could help you with them? And I can explain the ones you're really struggling with further."

“Fun, more problems,” Clay said sarcastically, exhaling. “Sure, yeah, we can do that.”

"Okay," George said with a chuckle, grabbing a piece of paper and copying a few questions off of the worksheets before handing it to Clay.
