"Well, first of all, you need to pay attention to what I'm doing," George said, taking quickly and pointing to his side of the board. "If you don't you're going to get easily played, and loose. You also need to protect you better pieces better. Like, I got your queen almost immediately, which is vital to winning most of the time."
-
Clay nodded, mentally noting George’s critique.
-
"You also gave away your plan much to easily. The seemingly foolproof plans of using your rooks right off the bat is easily foolish and can cost you another vital piece," George said, pointing to the board. "You also paid attntion too much to your pawns, which is a terrible decision. Those should be used as a last defense for your king, or used to make an early attack."
"Okay, George, give him a break," Bad said with a chuckle, moving George's hand away from over the board. -
“Okay, got it,” Clay replied with a nod, chuckling.
-
"He asked for it," George said with a chuckle. (brainded :"))
-
(s a m e :’)
maybe we can ts to tutoring or smth?) -
(uh, sure-)
"Oh, crap, it's getting kinda late," George said, pulling out his phone. "Do you want to come to my house for the tutoring, or we could do it in the library?"
"My God, and you're tutoring him?" Toby exclaimed, furrowing his eyebrows and looking over.
"Against my will, yeah," George said with a chuckle. -
“Uh, I guess we could do it at your place? I’m fine with either,“ Clay said with a shrug, standing and grabbing his bag.
”Ha! Little Mr. Perfect needs a tutor~” Tommy teased, smirking. -
"It'd probably be easier to do it at my place, it'd be quieter," George stated, standing and grabbing his bag, heading for the door.
"It'd to easier to-" Toby started, but Bad smacked his arm. "Preemptive language!"
"Bye guys," George said with a wave, chuckling and ignoring Toby's comment.
"Bye!" Bad said, waving back. Toby chuckled, waving and moving a pawn. Callahan waved, offering a small smile before looking back to the board. -
Clay followed after George, waving at his friends. He walked beside the brunette, putting his hands in the pocket of his jacket. “You’re friends are pretty cool. The blonde’s kind of annoying though,” he said with a chuckle, glancing over at George. “He seems alright though.”
-
"He's nice once you get to know him, trust me," George said with a chuckle, looking over to Clay. "He's also really good at chess." He said with a laugh.
-
Clay nodded, smiling at George. “So how long have you like, been playing chess?”
-
"Oh God, um," George paused, thinking for a moment. "My mom taught me when like, nine or ten, I'm pretty sure? But I only started really playing my freshman year,"
-
“That’s really cool,” Clay said with a smile, nodding. “I was put into sports really young. I’ve probably been playing on teams like, since I was 11, 12 years old.”
-
"That's cool. Probably explains why your really good," George said with a smile.
