(CRAP)
*Hello George, It read. I know we're not on the best terms right now, but I don't know how long I have left. I'm sorry for everything I've said, and I hope I can see you. (sorry this is dramatic but i can't think of anything else lmao-)
George froze, gripping onto Clay's shirt. "What?.." He mumbled, furrowing his eyebrows. -
(you good lmao)
Clay lifted his head, looking over at George. “You good?“ He asked, raising an eyebrow. -
George exhaled shakily, showing Clay the text on his phone instead of responding.
-
Clay read the text, inhaling. “Well, isn’t this a good thing? I mean, your mom seems to want to fix things. I get that one apology won’t fix everything, but it is a start.”
-
"But doesn't it also seem like she's f--king dying?" George retorted, chuckling dryly.
-
“I mean, yeah, but don’t you want to at least try and fix your relationship with her?” Clay asked, letting go of George and sitting up. “I know she was a d---, but I think you should hear her out and at least maybe consider forgiving her.“
-
"I mean, yeah, I- I do want to fix my relationship with her, but why the f--k is she suddenly dying?" George said, sitting up and running a hand through his hair.
-
“I- I don’t know, maybe she’s just being over dramatic?” Clay said with a shrug.
(tbh, didn’t understand what you wrote at first and had to go back and read it again ^^’) -
(oh- sorry :'))
George sighed, rubbing his face with his hands. "What do I do?" George muttered, half to himself. -
(you’re good, just took me a sec to figure it out lmaoo)
Clay opened his mouth to speak before closing it, not really knowing what to say. He rested a hand on George’s back, exhaling. -
"What do I do?" He exclaimed, shrugging Clay's hand off and standing, walking over to the balcony. "I mean, she's lied to me before, should I really believe her?"
-
“I mean, maybe you should?” Clay said slowly, watching George walk off. ”I get that you don’t want to trust her, considering she’s lied to you before, but, I mean, for all you know she could be telling the truth.”
-
"That's true," George mumbled, swinging his legs over the banister and sitting down. "But I just don't want to risk it again."
-
Clay watched George for a moment before looking away, hugging his legs to his chest. “I think you should still try and talk to her. At least hear her out. I’m not saying you have to, y’know, forgive her, since you shouldn’t be forced into that, but I think- I think it’d make things better, if you at least try and forgive her.”
