Calix sighed, trying to pull Katima off but to no avail. "I assume that you both eat then. What are you in the mood for?"

Sgrios paused for several seconds, seeming to be debating with himself as his tail twitched, before finally replying "do you have any fish?"

Katima perked up at the mention of fish as her body soon began wiggling,chirping.

"No but I could go fishing," Calix said blearily, lifting the hood of his robes up onto his head. "Care to come with me to get your lunch?"

Sgrios paused before he nodded, his lyre vanishing with a quiet crackling sound as he stood up, grimacing as he put weight on his broken leg

Calix scooped him up without a warning. "Is that any better?"

Katima squeaked as she soon launched her smol form onto Calix's shoulder.

Sgrios yelped in alarm at the sudden lift, his tail wrapping around Calix's neck to try to stabilize himself "give a god some warning!" He hissed in alarm, his ears pinned back

Calix flinched at Katima's landing before focusing on Sgrios. "Warning isn't nearly as fun as surprises! And "god"? I'm going to have to ask you to explain that one."

Sgrios flinched a little "guy, I ment guy. Slip of the tounge" he said a little to quickly

"Ah. Gotcha," Calix said, not looking entirely convinced. "Anyway, I know a great place which is perfect for fishing besides the feathered snakes."

"Feathered snakes?" He asked curiously, seeming relieved at the topic change

"Nasty things, I tell you," Calix said. "They have these really long feathers on their neck that they flair out when you get too close. It makes them look like ugly scaled daisies."

Sgrios made a face, grumbling something in primordial that sounded suspiciously like he was cursing someone

Meanwhile,Katima had Calix's finger in her mouth as her body wiggled.
