"What the-. Oi! Get off my finger!" Calix protested, shaking his hand.

Katima then was flung off his fingers and smacked against a wall.

Calix ran over to Katima and picked her up. "OhmygodsI'msosorryareyouokayIdidn'tmeantohurtyouohgodswhathaveIdone-"

Katima looked at him with tiny tears in her eyes and let out a soft wailing cry.

"No no no, I'm sorry!" Calix said in a tone that was about two octaves higher. "Please don't cry."

Sgrios looked concerned at the crying and reached out to take Katima from Calix(or California as my autocorect decided), carefully checking her over for injures. He didn't find any, but started humming a quiet song that sounded like a lullaby as he gently healed her, looking exhausted afterwards

Katima soon had calmed down as she blinked a bit sleepily,curling up a bit as she yawned,falling asleep after a moment.

Calix sighed in relief. "Thanks. I'm not the best with children, or uh, younglings in general." -
Sgrios chuckled tiredly, his ears tilting backwards as he gently stroked Katimas head "i could tell" the primordial said, a nostalgic look on his face

Calix, carrying Sgrios, carrying Katima))
Calix made a small huff but did not comment, his staff floating beside him and occasionally swatting at critters in the grass. The lake shimmered fantastically, like a rippling piece of diamond. -
Katima instinctively snuggled more into Sgrios as she purred softly.

Sgrios hummed quietly to Katima, his ears twitching as he looked around. He noticed the lake and made a surprised noise

"We're here," Calix said, his staff trekking first into the undergrowth. Several loud, spiteful hisses came from the bushes as snakes with feathered manes flew at the staff in contempt.

Katima twitched her ears as she heard the hissing,her stomach grumbling a bit before she launched out and grabbed one of the snakes and swallowed it whole,burping softly.
