Chloe walked out, dabbing some sort of salve on her wrists when she saw Evan and nearly flew out of her skin. "GET THE F- Oh, it's just you," she said, calming down when she realized who he was.

Evan flinched, jumping up. ``Uh- You- you okay? I'm uh, I'm sorry you got- got dragged into all, all that,`` he mumbled, looking down at the ground and rubbing his arm.

"Yes yes, I'm fine, Heere. It's nothing I haven't already experienced," Chloe said dryly. She thought back and realized that it had been the first time she had actually called Evan by his first name.

``O-Okay, well I uhm, I just wanted to- to make sure you didn't get-get too hurt,`` Evan said anxiously, glancing up and rubbing the back of his neck.

Chloe laughed bitterly, leaning against a wall. "I'm used to it. Do you know how to fight?"

“Uhm, not- not well? I uh, I took a bit of karate in middle school, but-but I don’t remember much, other th-than a few moves,” Evan replied, fidgeting with the hem of his shirt. “Not sure karate’s even much of self defense..”

Chloe face-palmed, sighing. "God, Heere. If you intend to get turned into pulp every time you step foot out of class, then you need to be able to defend yourself."
Chloe bit her lip, deep in thought. "Meet me by that tree after school. We can go to my place so you can learn how not to get dropkicked by a bunch of idiots." -
``Uh- r-really?`` Evan asked, a small smile growing onto his face. ``Th-Thank you, Chloe.``

Chloe pursed her lips and looked away, seeming a little flustered. "Yeah, whatever. I'll see you around then."

“S-See you,” Evan said, shortly waving at Chloe as she walked off. Wow, I- She’s offering to teach me how to defend myself?? I wasn’t expecting that.

Chloe wrapped the bandage a little tighter around her wrist, wiping the blood from her nose with a sigh. What am I getting myself into?

Chloe smoothed her hair back, leaning against the tree. She was feeling a lot better now, although she was still pretty sore. This was the tree he fell from. I hope he never finds out I carried him. -

Evan quickly made his way out of the school and to the tree, spotting Chloe and walking over to her. “H-Hi.” -
*flings self into the sun*))
Chloe's eyebrows raised a little bit. "I was half expecting you not to come."
