She started going through the cupboards. "Cheese puff balls, chips, M&Ms, popcorn, you got it all, didn't you?"
-
"Yep. The parents always have it stocked," he said with a chuckle, grabbing a bag of chips.
-
"Nice," she said. She took a bowl out and started mixing random snack things together.
-
Connor walked over to the fridge and pulked out a coke, opening it. He took a sip, walking back into the living room and sitting down on the couch.
-
And they made an afternoon of it, doing what they usually do, ending up watching tv until Natalia's mom texted her to come home for supper.
(time skip?) -
( sure. to the next day at school? )
-
(Sure. Maybe we should wait for Elly)
-
( m'kay. )
-
(Hey, i'm here)
-
(Alright. Did you see what I said earlier about Adam?)
Natalia was on her way to science class. It was her last class before lunch. -
(Yes, I did)
Adam didn't feel like taking class, but he would see Natalia so he went. -
Connor already sat in the class, his head on his arms faced down at the table. He sat there quietly, listening to music through his earbuds.
-
"Hey," Natalia said, sitting next to Connor. She had gotten there just before class started.
A bit later, the teacher started talking about the group project they had to do.
Apparently she was picking the groups, rather than the students doing so. -
Adam walked in the classroom late again. He made his way over to his seat frowning. "I know, I know. I'm late again" He said to the teacher smiling.
-
Again, the teacher gave him a scolding, saying he should know better than that, and all that jazz. She then started telling the kids the groups she had chosen, pausing after each group so that they could find each other
"Lilac and Annabeth"
"Charlie and Kylie"
"Michael and Alex"
"Samantha and Connor"
"Iris and Julian"
"Adam and Natalia"
And she continued down the list until she ran out of students
