Natalia couldn't help but laugh a little at that. "I guess I'm lucky I'm not part of that majority." She rarely ever put makeup on, only when she knew her mom would get on her for it, and she didn't care much for fashion. She had a style, but it wasn't her entire life, or anything.

``Yeah, you're different and much less annoying than them,`` Connor agreed with a chuckle. ``So, shall we head off to torture- I mean class?``

"With unpleasure," Natalia agreed, and they started heading in that direction.

``So, did you happen to tell Adam you liked him?`` Connor asked as they walked, glancing over at Natalia.

"Mhmm," Natalia said. "Wonderful first impression. We meet and then I bash him with a confession."

Connor chuckled, looking forward. ``What'd he say? 'Oh, I'm sorry but I only date hot, sexy girls who wear skimpy, revealing dresses'?``

"No, he was really nice about it," Natalia said. In a way, it made her admire him more. "He said, 'it's complicated.'" She furrowed his eyebrows then unfurrowed them in realization. "He already has a girlfriend, doesn't he? Or maybe he likes some other girl." Natalia sighed. "Either way, it's probably never going to happen between us."

Connor shrugged. ``I mean, I'm sure that he does. He's like, really popular, so I wouldn't be surprised.``

She nodded. "I just hope he doesn't think I'm like all the other girls swooning after him. At least I have the decency to be able to stand on my own two feet!'

``True,`` Connor said with a chuckle. ``I'd laugh if anyone did that to me. Imagine.``

"Oh Connor!" Natalia said, pretending to dramatically faint, catching herself just in time before she actually fell.
And it was at just that time that they had arrived at the classroom, and everyone was staring at her. Natalia sputtered out a laugh. -
Connor laughed, covering his mouth. ``Jesus Christ, Natalia,`` he said through his laughs, walking over to his desk.

"I'm sorry, you practically cued me to do it," she defended, sitting next to him.

Connor chuckled, shaking his head. ``Guess so,`` he said, pulling out his phone as the teacher started talking and taking attendance.

Adam groaned and walked into the classroom late. "I'm here" He walked over sitting in a seat all the way in the back.
