(Me wondering when the romance part is going to come into play)
The drug was soon administered to her, even though she resisted. A bit later, she started getting rather drowsy -
(ask why didn't i think about that- xD sorry ok i'll come up with something rq-)
Once Katherine fell asleep, Aiden began working on her eye. He continued to administer the same drug if she began to wake up throughout the procedure, and by the end, he still hadn't found anything different about her eye. Frustrated, he gave up for the day and replaced her eye, then waiting for her to wake up. -
Katherine woke up. To her surprise she could actually see just fine.

Aiden smiled. "That wasn't so bad, now was it?"

"Are you going to let me go now?" Katherine glared at him.

"Yes I am, in fact," he told her. "You can go back to living your normal life, but you're special, with that eye. You still have one left with the power, use it well. It needs to be protected, so I will be watching over you throughout your life. I'll just but a place in your town. I won't be doing anything else to you."

"Hey you said you were going to give the new eye the same weird abilities!" Katherine said. She'd rather not look at everyone with red eyes with one eye shut.

"I said I would if you wanted to, and you didn't specify that you wanted to. Sooo-"

"Well now I'm telling you I want it," Katherine said. Yeah, the situation was kind of not in her control, but she wanted to have her eye back!

Aiden groaned and sighed, rather loudly I might add. He shook his head and placed his fingers on his temples. "Fine," he said. "But I'm going to have to do it tomorrow because I'm tired from working for hours on you yesterday.

"Yester—How long was I out for?" Katherine asked
