Tessa jerked in surprise, but she didn't stop trying to get out.
She exited the window, but as she hung from the sill, she looked down. She was on the second floor, and the ground didn't look very soft.
Shoot.
But a broken bone or two was worth her freedom, wasn't it. -
"I wouldn't jump if I were you." Ash stood next the window. "Where do you think the blood smear's came from? Our archer's don't miss, they never do."
-
Tessa looked up at Ash.
She had a choice.
Go with Ash and be his plaything
Or drop to the ground and most certainly die.
Tessa looked down again. That wasn't soil, that was concrete! She'd probably be too injured from her fall to try and run.
Her eyes widened. She suddenly didn't want to fall.
Her feet started searching for something that maybe could help her climb down. -
Another arrow flew through the arrow missing her hand by a inch. "They aren't trying to killing you, not even kill you." Ash said as he watched her. "And if you try to climb up you'll find our sniper shooter's on the roof."
-
Frankly, the odds were not in her favor.
She decided that she'd have more of a chance going along with Ash.
But the problem was her grip was slipping. She tried to tighten her grip on the sill, but it wasn't working. Tessa's eyes widened. She was going to die, wasn't she. Ash wouldn't care if her falling was an accident, then she'd be shot and dead.
She was barely holding by her fingertips, not able to hold herself up fr much longer. -
"Come back in here." Ash voice filled with panic and worry. He wanted to crawl out onto the ledge and get her himself but she would probably try to kick him down to the ground.
-
(Shoot I meant to say third floor, not second, my mind was going weird)
"I - I can't!" Tessa said.
Her grip gave up and she fell to the ground. She felt one of her arms and one of her legs breaking. Tessa squeezed her eyes shut, some tears slipping out, as she braced herself for the feeling of a shot through her body. -
No arrow's flew through the air, only the sound of feet. People were picking her up and laying her on some sort of stretcher and going inside down the hallway.
-
Tessa blinked through her tearing eyes to see that she was not dead. She was being carried through the house. Her right leg and left arm hurt, so did her torso, but she didn't know if anything was broken or not.
-
[Check your email please?]
"get her to the room now, we need to see what's broken." The stretcher had stopped but now it was moving again. -
(Sure)
Tessa wondered why they hadn't killed her. Why had Ash told them to not shoot at her? Why were they going to tend to her injuries. Ash had made it perfectly clear that he didn't care. -
They laid her on the bed and the healer's came forward and the guards asked for Ash to leave and he agreed. They poke and prodded at her seeing what was broken and fixing it.
-
Jenna had slipped into unconsciousness, mostly from her loss of blood from earlier.
-
[Tat, this is Tessa not Jenna.]

(I keep mixing their names up. It's both a consonant, an e, a double consonant, and an a)
