"Why, because you said so?" He picked her up again and started to walk down the hallway. "I should have let the dogs eat you alive."

"But you didn't, so here we are," Tessa countered. This time she didn't resist so much, because she didn't want to get more harm than before.

"I didn't?" He laughed. "They didn't allow it, they decided you would live." He stopped at a door and opened it to reveale a empty room.

Tessa looked around, wondering where they were. From what she could see from behind Ash, it was empty.

He took her to a corner and sat her down. "I hope you have fun." He responded as he shut the door behind him leaving her in a black dark room with weird noises coming from the other side of the room.

Tessa's head whipped around, trying to find some source of light. None even came from under the door. The suffocating heavy dark surrounded her and she couldn't do anything about it.
Ever since her mom's funeral (she had died from cancer when Tessa was seven), she'd had this undying fear of the dark. When she saw her mom's casket being lowered...the thought of being buried alive, not being able to get out, no one being able to hear you as you cried out for help, slowly suffocating, nothing but darkness...it had never left her. -
A clicking noise came from the corner near her and someone rolled by her and the sound of a blade hitting the floor. The suffocating darkness made the creature impossible to see and if you were to see the human who only had one eye that was a glittering purple.

Tessa's hands were shaking slightly. She jumped and gave a small gasp as she heard a clinking noise somewhere near her.

"Hello.." The creature said as it crawled near her.

Tessa's eyes went wide and she shrank herself against the wall. There was someone else in here. Ash wouldn't put here in here if there wasn't some sort of awful thing going to happen. Unless it was another captive like her?

"Who are you?" The creature as the clicking noise continued.

"W-What's going on?" Tessa's voice was trembling. "Who are you?"

"Meeaa...I am Zoë." The creature went to the other end of the room and made more clicking noises. "I have no idea what youa do in my room.."

Tessa could sense that whoever it was had moved away from her. "Ash...Ash put me here," she whispered.

"Yes he did, the lovely boy put you in here with Zoë." The creature responded and some light shone from the corner Zoë had rolled over to.
