Sae felt Ross's arm around her shoulder and she turned as red as a ripe tomato while munching on her goldfish.

Ross set his can on the coffee table in front of him and opened his goldfish, grabbing a few and eating them. He kept his gaze on the tv, not having noticed his arm was around Sae.

Sae felt comfortable. She continued to eat her snacks as she watched the movie, calm and silent but with a smile.

``Honestly, it's not so bad so far,`` he commented, grabbing his coke and taking a sip from the can.

"Yeah," Sae replied. "It's staying fairly true to the book as far as I can tell."

Ross nodded, shifting slightly closer to Sae's side. He took another sip of his coke, keeping his gaze on the TV.
( bro- we forgot to tie in a soulmate AU to the RP lmao. i like, just realized that xD ) -

After a couple of hours, the movie ended, and Sae smiled. "That movie was actually really good- I'm surprised," she commented with a grin. -

``Yeah, it was,`` Ross agreed, nodding. ``Now I guess I should read the book.`` He chuckled, pulling his arm back as he grabbed his now empty coke can and trash, standing and going to throw it away.
There was a knock on the door and Ross looked over, starting to walk over to the door. ``I'll get it,`` he said, walking over and opening it. ``Hello, how can I help you?``
``Who the hell are you?`` A guy asked, looking down at Ross.
``Oh, my name's Ross,`` he said with a smile. ``I was invited over by Sae. Are you a friend of hers?``
He chuckled, crossing his arms. ``You could say that. I'm Michael.`` -
Sae froze. Nonononono
She walked hesitantly up to the door and looked up at Michael. "What... what are you doing here, Michael?"She asked softly. -
``You know why I'm here,`` Michael said, walking past Ross and over to Sae. He grabbed her hands, staring down at her. ``Listen, I- I know I f--ked up. I'm sorry. Just.. please. Take me back. I never meant to hurt you and I acted irrationally. Please forgive me,`` he pleaded, his face and voice seeming genuinely real.
Ross watched, pretty confused. ``Uh, Sae, who is this?`` -
Sae shook her head vigorously and shut her eyes. "No," she said, trying her best to sound firm. "I'm never taking you back- you're not sorry and you did mean to hurt me. Just get the hell out of my apartment, Michael..."

Michael's expression changed and he let go of Sae's hands, glaring at her. ``Fine. I'll get you back one day. You can't live without me,`` he said, turing and walking off, brushing past Ross. He slammed the door, leaving Ross and Sae in silence.
``What- So he was- Well uh, that was uhm, interesting,`` Ross said with an awkward chuckle. -
Sae buried her face in her hands and teared up. "Sorry Ross, that wasn't supposed to happen... sorry..."

``No, it's fine,`` Ross said with a smile, walking over to Sae and putting an arm around her. ``It's not your fault, you didn't even know he would come over. Don't blame yourself.``

Sae leaned onto Ross as he put an arm around her. She sniffed, finding it hard to keep a facade on where she wasn't going to cry.
