It was math class. After successfully answering a few problems Thane glanced around for a bit of a brain break. His eyes landed on an interesting-looking girl sitting next to him. He lightly tapped her desk to get her attention.

Vivian looked uo and over to the boy with auburn hair, raising an eyebrow. She smiled and gave him a small wave.

"Hey," he said. He held out his hand for a handshake. "I'm Thane."

``Nice to meet you,`` she replied with a gentle smile, grabbing his hand and shaking it. ``I'm Vivian.``

Thane glanced up to see the teacher looking at them. "Talk to you later," he said quietly.

Vivian nodded subtly, returning to her work.
The bell soon rang, signaling class was over. She stood and grabbed her notebooks and journal, stuffing them in her bag. She headed outside the classroom, waiting outside by the door. -

Thane swerved his head around the doorway just to see the girl he had just met. Deciding to try and at least startle her he said,
"Boo." -
Vivian flinched, turning around. She exhaled when she noticed it was Thane, the boy she waved to. ``Hey,`` she said with an optimistic smile on her sun-shiny face.
( dunno if that's a word to describe someone's face, but I'm goin with it lmao ) -
"Gotcha," he grinned and stepped out of the classroom. "What's your next class?"

``Theatre,`` she replied. ``We've got a play coming up, it's High School Musical, and the cast list should be out today. I auditioned for a few different roles in hopes of getting at least one.`` She sighed, crossing her arms. ``I really hope I get a good role.``

"I've thought about being in theater, I've always been a rather good performer," Thane said. "I hope you do well."
