C1 is a mage, a fairly powerful one, who works in the police force protecting their home city. They have been doing this for a very long time, yet something is missing. Something everyone else has. Their Soul Mate. Normally, everyone is born with a mark, which is shared by their soul mate. People go out of their way to find their mates, often posting their marks online to find them. But C1 hasnt found anyone with a matching mark. Untill, however, when they get a call for backup on an illegal blackmarket slavery ring, and encounter C2.
C2(my character if thats ok) is an artificially created life form that was intended to be used for war, but said war never happened. So they have been passed around from seller to seller untill the market raid happens.
C2 has the same mark as C1, leaving C2 with a choice. Abandon the creature, or keep them for thenselves.

Abilitys: he can form tentacles and insect wings out of the vents on his back, and absorb magic through the ports. Has a mild form of telepathy, but must be emotionally close to someone for it to work.
Weaknesses: he doesnt produce any magic on his own, and needs to be fed it from an outside source or he will die. His soul(the skeleton approximate of a humans heart) is extreamly fragile due to this. He can absorb magic three ways, skin contact, vials of liquid magic, and the usual Inncubus way
Other: hes a sweetheart, but could absolutely commit genocide if forced too -

Weaknesses:Without anything with electricty to fuel her,it causes her to shut down,leaving her exposed to attacks.
Other:She's willing to protect those she cares for.even if it means risking it all

Theta stood calmly in his holding cage, watching the people outside moving around in a rush. He could hear something going on in the distance, but wasn't bothered by it. Fights were common here after all.

Dakota blankly watched the people scurry past her like a bunch of frightened dogs,merely huffing at them as she countinued forth,fixing up her police vest as she glanced around at the cages before spotting a creature in one of them,furrowing her brows a bit. The female soon made her way over to the cage,still keeping her gaze on the creature."Hello?" She spoke out.

Dakota frowned as she stared at the cage,taking in its appearance before she soon picked the lock of the cage and slowly opened it."Are you hurt or anything?" She questioned.

Dakota stared at the creature for a moment before she lets out a sigh,running her fingers through her black locks."Guess not..Well,um..Lets get you out of here then,yeah?" She mumbled as she stepped back a bit,a black print of a wolf on the left side of her neck as she turned to make sure everything was clear.

Theta watched her for a few seconds, staring at the mark, before moving to follow her. His vents clicked quietly as he closed them, rolling his shoulders to try to relax his aching spine
