"Well,seems you understand me so that's good. Dakota's my name though you can't speak..so I don't know your name and I don't want to call you creature all day." Dakota mused out as she slipped her hands into her pants pockets,glancing back at him.

The creature tilted his head at her, his eyelights flickering before he spoke "Weapon, Theta" in a clipped female voice. It sounded strange though, like a recording

Dakota rose an eyebrow at the voice,having paused in her walking once the voice was heard."...Theta,huh? and You're a weapon?..Suppose we're the same yet different..I assist the police force and in return,They pay me. Though they too often have me protect them from any gunfire or explosions. A normal day for a mage such as myself." She mused.
Dakota just gives'I don't give a f--- but I want my money' vibe) -
Theta tilted his head the other way, silently processing what she said before "mage" mimicking her voice perfectly

Dakota chuckled softly as she simply nodded her head."That's what I am. A mage,quite powerful not that I'm bragging or anything." She said with a slight smirk on her face before she motioned him to follow,leaving from there.

Theta went quiet now, following just behind her

"So,Why were ya in a cage and how'd ya get there?" Dakota questioned after a moment,thinking of whether or not to bring him into her home or just let him roam free,to which she quickly threw that idea away,settling on bring him with her as she made her way to her home.

Theta made a quiet distressed noise, as he didn't have the words to tell her

"Well,that's alright. At least whatever they planned to do with you was stopped." Dakota said as she grabbed her keys from her pocket and unlocked the door,turning on a nearby lamp."Make yourself comfortable,Just don't break anything." She hummed.

Theta proceeded to sit cross legged on the floor, staring up at her in silence

Dakota silently closed the door behind him with her powers as she was quick to grab herself an apple,taking a bite out of it."Um..Do you eat or anything?" She questioned.
