Callum climbed up the tree, getting onto a branch near where Adrienne was hanging.

"I've always liked climbing trees," Adrienne said. "Sort of clears my head."

Callum nodded, swinging his legs in the spot he sat in.

"So I already asked Addie this, but what's life like around here?" Adrienne asked.

``Eh, it's kind of boring,`` Callum said, running a hand through his hair. ``I mean, I don't have too many friends so it gets rather boring whenever they aren't around. Just a few close ones.``

"Can I meet them?" she asked.
(I have a feeling she's in for a surprise lol) -

``Sure,`` Callum said, looking over to Adrienne. ``Just, be warned, they are very "interesting" people,`` he added, chuckling. -
"Interesting people are my favorite," Adrienne said.

Callum chuckled, proceeding to climb down the tree. ``Just, be careful around my friend Jeremy. And expect many, many compliments on your looks. He's full of them.`` He sighed, shaking his head. ``Seriously though, flattery won't get him anywhere.``

Adrienne flipped back upright feeling the slightest bit lightheaded. She looked down at Callum. "But you guys get along well, right?"

``Yeah, we do,`` Callum said with a chuckle. ``He can be a prick sometimes, but he's a good guy once you get to know him.``

"Alright." She jumped off the branch she was in onto the ground.

Callum pulled out his phone, sending a quick text to his friends. He hummed as he put his phone away, glancing at Adrienne for a moment.

Adrienne was suddenly face to face with a very vicious bird staring at her with big beady eyes.
