“Don’t worry about it, Jo,” Roy whispered. His house was about twenty minutes away, so it was a peaceful, quiet drive there.
Roy parked his car in the garage and sighed. All of the lights were out. He unbuckled his seat belt and looked over to Jo. “Mom’s asleep, but we’ll just go through the basement door. It’s not like I don’t sleep there anyways,” he said with a chuckle. He ran his fingers through his hair, then opened the car door. -
Jo nodded and unbuckled, getting out of the car. She folded her hands in front of her, waiting patiently to follow Roy inside. She sighed, tapping her thumb against the back of her hand. ``I feel like I've caused you a lot of trouble,`` she said, ``I can just go back to my place. I-I really don't want to b-be a bother.``

Roy pulled his keys out the ignition and looked over to Jo. “You’ve never caused me any trouble, Jo,” he said with a smile. He got out of the car, shutting the door behind him. Roy found the key to the basement door and unlocked it. “Just don’t be too loud, yeah?” Roy joked. Jo was never very loud.

Jo chuckled and nodded, getting out of the car and walking over to Roy.
