Julia buried her pink face behind her hands, peeking out at him between her fingertips. "Sorry, I'm just really bad at conversations," she said with a nervous laugh. "It's been a while since I've had anyone I could relate to." -

``It's fine, I'm the same, honestly,`` Aiden said with a chuckle. ``I honestly just, internally freak out and overthink everything I'm going to say in any conversation I have.`` -
"Precisely," Julia said, tying her hair into a ponytail as one loose strand waved around her face. "Which is why I became a florist! You don't have to talk a lot but the plants do like conversations."

``Nice,`` he said with a smile, finishing off his ice cream and tossing away his trash. He walked back over to Julia, crossing his arms. ``So, what now?``

Julia threw her cup away and hoisted up her crutches. "Uh..," she said, her mind blanking out on her. "Well, there's a lake nearby."

``Should we go there? I don't mind.``

"It's all I can think of at the moment," Julia said with a sheepish smile. "So why not?"

``Yeah, sure,`` he said with a smile.

Julia got up with the help of her crutches. She hated how dependent she felt with them, but they were better than a wheelchair. A cool breeze swirled around the scents of autumn, the colorful leaves heralding the arrival of winter.

``Lead the way,`` Aiden said with a chuckle.

Julia flipped her dramatically, a playful expression on her face. "Oh, I will~" she said.
After some time had passed because Spice is lazy and doesn't want to make a guesstimate, they had reached a shimmering lake, rich with wildlife and bursting with song. -

``Whoa,`` Aiden said in awe, looking out at the lake that shone from the sunlight hitting the water. ``Okay, this is a perfect photo op,`` he said with a chuckle, pulling out his phone. ``Jesus, that sounded so weird and cringey..``
