"So if you're so convinced that Harrison doesn't care for me, why am I still here?" she asked.

"We need more people to fight with us, he'll tell you what's going on and then the changing will begin." Cash answered.

"You're making it sound like he's on your side," Jenna said uncertainly

"He's not, but if he wants the people he loves to stay alive he then he will listen." Cash rubbed the scar on his face wishing she would just stop asking questions.

But the problem for Cash was that with that one statement came so many questions.
"And what's the changing thing?" Jenna asked. -
"You. Your gonna change, just like many other's." He grinned, she was gonna freak out for sure.

Jenna looked at him. "I'm - How am I going ot change?"

"Your appearance is gonna change." Yep, she was freaking out, and for once he didn't feel bad about doing this to her.

"And why exactly does that need to happen?" she asked.

"Because, we need another group of fighter's and you just happen to be around a shifter so we might as well use you." He grinned even bigger as people started to finish exercising and were going to go change.

"But why does my appearance need to change for that?" she asked.

"Oh, it just will." He left the answer at that, let her curiosity get at her.

Jenna was silent for a moment before she stood up, wincing at the pain in her foot. She started limping out of the room, hoping that Cash wouldn't stop her. She needed to be alone, she needed to think.

Let her leave, she won't make it out the front door besides, the shadow shifter's will watch her. She won't be able to do anything without one of the shadow's watching her.

(I thought he was an enemy of the shadow shifters?)
Jenna wandered around for a bit until she found herself back in the room she had woken up in. She curled up in the corner with her arms wrapped around her legs and her head rested on her knees.
She didn't cry, though tears threatened to fall, just took deep breaths.
They wanted her to fight for them? She nad never liked fighting. They had kidnapped her and now they expected her to fight for them?
And suddenly magic was real, horribly real, and anyone here could kill her in a second, if they wanted to. Her life was constantly in danger here.
She was trapped in this place having no idea where she was or what to do. And then there was also Cash who was always either trying to hurt or frighten her or seduce her.
Jenna just wanted to get out of this place. She wanted to be back home with her parents. She wanted to be able to climb her tree in the backyard. She wanted Harrison's arms around her and him telling her everything would be alright, nothing would hurt her.
