"He did. He had no right." He growled when he answered, anger showing in his voice.

Jenna shook her head. That didn't sound like the Harrison she knew. Doing something to someone like that for absolutely no reason at all.

"He's different with you." He looked away from her, his voice cracking a little. "Can't you tell?"

Jenna didn't say anything. She didn't know what to think anymore. He had been hiding all this from her. It made her wonder who the real Harrison was.

"He does that, never shows his real self. Hidden behind a mask." Cash leaned onto his elbows and his eyes gazed at her.

She'd have to talk to him when - if she got out of there.
There were tears in her eyes. How much of it had been a lie? She swallowed and tried to blink the tears back. -
"You can cry. We won't laugh, crying is not a sign of weakness." He answered and he looked her.

Jenna thought about what Cash had said about Harrison wearing a mask.
The only think you could see, the only thing you knew was real was the person's eyes.
She thought about Harrison's eyes. How they softened and filled with love and care whenever he saw her, how they had filled with absolute fury when that guy had hit her, how they were filled with concern when she had accidentally cut her legs.
And even though Cash and everyone else was there, Jenna couldn't help but smile. Harrison cared about her. That wasn't a lie. And with that train of thought she realized that he had been trying to protect her.
Harrison still cared about her. That wasn't a lie. That was all that mattered.
And her smile grew just a hint more when she realized that Cash and nobody else would know why she was smiling. -
"You may think you know him but he will be the death of you Jenna." Cash frowned as he thought about Harrison, that boy probably had a good life.

The smile remained on her face. He had no idea.
Harrison cared about her. She clung onto that knowledge as if her life depended on it. -
She gonna get herself killed believing he loved her. I'll just have to destroy, show her the truth. A creepy smile crawled on his face at that thought.

Jenna gazed at Cash. "I pity you."

"Same to you." His creepy smile grew bigger.

"Hm," was all she said. Her expression was mild.

He knew he was gonna piss her off and from this he felt happy. Why? He had no clue. He stood up and his hands went to his hair so he could fix it.
