Emerald looked up to Nixie with wide eyes. “What..?”

She straightened up with her arms behind her back, grinning down at the human "i dont need to eat, why would i? Seems like a useless thing to me" she said with a laugh

“But... eating is necessary to human life...” Emerald breathed out.

She grinned, desplaying her razor sharp and definietly not human teeth "she said im human?

Emerald stumbled backwards. This person wasn’t human. What was she?

Nixie laughed at her reaction, reaching out and stopping her from falling "relax! Im not gunna hurt ya, your to helpful for that" she said lightly

Emerald relaxed slightly but still kept her hand on the knife in her back pocket. She wasn’t completely sure that this person was safe, no matter how friendly she acted.

Nixie patted her head and straightened up again "so you said you were hunting?

Emerald flinched just slightly when Nixie posted her head. “Usually I hunt squirrels and rabbits,” she said.

She rubbed her chin in thought "those are awfully fast...

“Yeah, but I’ve spent enough time hunting them to be able to do it with ease.”

"Hu. Oke then. Should be fun!

Emerald smiled slightly and got out her bow along with an arrow from the quiver on her back. She drew it back and focused on the light grey squirrel that was moving peacefully on a nut a little ways away.
