When the bell rang Elizabeth stood up and walked towards her English classroom. She signed just before she opened the metal door. Why can’t I ever do anything right? She asked herself. Then she sat down at her desk which was located right behind Julian’s.

"Ello," Julian said to Elizabeth upon her arrival.

“Hey.” Elizabeth greeted in response. Class started. Usually she focused on what the teacher was saying, but at the moment she was focused on Julian. He was Andrew’s best friend. So maybe...
Ok perked up slightly at her epiphany. She quickly scribbled something down on a scrap of paper she found on the floor beside her and slid it stealthily onto Julian’s desk. It read: Meet me at the bench by the bike rack after school please. Don’t be late. I have a favor to ask of you. -
*she perked up
(STUPID TYPOS) -
Julian took the note and quickly read Elizabeth's handwriting. He looked up at Elizabeth with only the slightest bit of confusion. After a moment he slowly nodded, wondering what it was about.

After school, Elizabeth nervously walked over to the bench outside and sat down with her hands in her lap. Her toes talked on the concrete anxiously. She wondered how Julian would react to her idea.

Julian spotted Elizabeth on the bench and sat next to her. "What's up?" he asked curiously.

Elizabeth looked to Julian who had sat beside her. “Uh, I, uh...” She stuttered. “Oh gods, I don’t know how to say this...” Elizabeth paused before saying, “I need you to date me.” She stated, blatantly. Then she raised her hands up and waved them frantically in front of her face with a nervous expression. “Eh, it’s not like that, I promise! Since you’re good friends with Andrew, I had the idea where if I dated you, it might make him jealous. I like him, if you couldn’t tell...”

"Yeah, I could," Julian said. "But I don't know about dating to make him jealous. That just doesn't seem like something friends would do."

“Oh come on, please?” Elizabeth pleaded. “It’s not too bad. And I’ll give you something if you do it. I just want to try. What do you want?” She said frantically. She had had a crush on Andrew since this first grade, and she just wanted to try one last time to get him to like her.

"Yeah, lying to my best friend isn't so bad," Julian said.

Elizabeth groaned. “Pleaaase? I won’t ask anything of you ever again.”
(Hey, I don’t know Julian that well, what do you think would convince him?) -
"I'm fine with you asking things of me," Julian said. "I'm just not sure about this."
(I don't know him well either XDD)
