On the way back, Cade listened to Never Gonna Give You Up by Bronze Avery, Driver’s License by Olivia Rodrigo, and Dive by Ed Sheeran. Finally they made it back to base. Cade got out of the car first and walked over to Natalia’s side where he opened the door for her.

"Oh, thanks," Natalia said, getting out of the car. "Is there anything else you want me to know about you?" she asked. "I have to send a good report to the Council, and they're extremely skeptical about people they haven't trained."

“Well there is one thing...” Cade began. “When I trained, I trained under the government program until I realized how their moves conflicted with mine. So I know some stuff about their inner writings that might be of help.”

Natalia raised her eyebrows and nodded. "I'll be sure to put that in," she said.

Cade nodded and walked into the building. “So what now?” He asked

"Now...I don't know, I guess you could get to know some of the other people, Natalia said. "But I warn you they're not as nice as me. I have to get this report in to the Council as soon as possible.

“Ok then, thanks.” Cade said with a barely visible smile. He began to silently wander about the building; this wandering lasted for about an hour. Cade finally decided to spot down outside where he took deep breaths and prayed that everything would be ok. He still wasn’t completely sure about this mission, no matter how confident he acted about it.

Natalia quickly and efficiently typed up her report, then clicked the send button. She then went to go find Cade.

Cade was still sitting by himself, relaxing. He heard footsteps behind her and turned around to see Natalia. “Hey,” he said with a small smile.

"Is something wrong?" she asked, sitting next to him.

“Not really,” he lied smoothly. “I’m just hoping that I get a mission soon. I mean that’s the whole reason I came here.”

(Ok, can we do a time skip? We need to get the romance in there before the mission)
"I'm sure one will come soon," Natalia said. "The Council will probably choose one to test your loyalties." -
(Sure, where are we skipping to?)
“Yeah,” Cade replied. -
(Uhhhh....I dunno. Maybe when they start gaining feelings for each other?)
"You'll be fine," Natalia said. "I have full confidence in you."
