"Really all the information he gave me was that he was a werewolf," she said.

"Hmm, that sounds suspicious." Porak said.

"I don't have a good feeling about him," Cassie said, looking back out the door as if she'd see him staring straight at her, but there was no one there.

"You should never trust werewolves. They're bad news." said Porak.

"He said the same thing about vampires," Cassie said. "But anyway, you and my parents are really the only magical people that I actually trust."

Porak looked at her with delight written all over his face. "You trust me?"

She nodded then silently went to her locker.

"Wow, thanks." he said.

Cassandra got everything in her locker situated and then went to her first class.
