(I have to go soon.)
-
She led him down the dull, long tunnel. It got darker and darker, until it was impossible to see. At the last possible second, they entered a large rocky room, but it was pitch black. She breathed in the cool air, taking deep breaths, and her scales lit up, surrounding her in a warm golden glow. "My scales do this in the dark. I'm the only one in centuries who has the ability." Soon the glow grew brighter, until the whole room was visible. It was filled with valuable gemstones and crystal clusters. Diamond, amethyst, emerald, ruby. You name it, it was there.
-
Glaca gasped as he saw what was all around him. "It's so pretty."
-
She smiled. "I'm glad you like it."
-
Just try and see what happens. "Only you outshine it more because of your beauty." He blushed.
-
Her scales grew hot as she blushed as well, only when she blushed it wasn't pink or red, it was purplish blue. Her blood was that color. "Thanks. You look nice, too. Or at least the blurry blobs that I can see look nice."
-
She can't see me. Good. Glaca leaned forward and kissed Feathera.
-
Feathera yelped and backed away. "I- I have to go." She backed out of the tunnel, ran out of the cave, and soared into the sky.
-
He frowned. I didn't mean to scare her away. He left the cave and wen tot his tree. Oh, i am so stupid.
-
She went back to the edge of the forest. A dull black feathered wyvern was waiting for her. Her father. "There you are." He said. "Where did you go?"
Feathera shifted her wings. She was supposed to stay inside the territory. "Near the field." She said guiltily. She was a bad liar.
He sighed. "Next time, don't stray so far from home. And with that, he flew away. -
I miss her, she was different. Perfect in her little way. Glaca put his head in his wings curling into a ball, surprising himself he felt himself crying.
-
Feathera sighed. Running out like that had been a little mean, but he'd kissed her! And they'd only just met!
-
Why did he do that, he asked himself as he sat on the tree branch where he had meet Feathera. Maybe because she was different, not so prideful and hopelessly stupid. Most girls like him because of his looks, colors, abilities.
At least it was a good kiss. He smiled. -
The sun began to set, though it was only a few hours past noon. Despite this, the moon was not visible in the sky yet. Feathera soared through the treetops, finally being able to be above them. She flapped her wings and gazed down at the other side, where the dragons were.
-
I have to find her, she has been on my mind since that kiss. He looked around at the other dragons, they weren't paying attention to him or their surroundings.
