"I would skip class, but I have a record to keep." she said with a sigh.

"A record?" Amber asked curiously.

"Our permanent school records? I plan on going to a good college." Crystal said.

"Oh those," Amber said. "I thought you were talking about some sort of personal record, or something."

"Technically it would be a personal record." she said.

"You know what I mean," she said.

"Yes I know." she said.

Soon thereafter the bell rang, signaling for everyone to head to their next class.

Crystal picked up her backpack and waved. "See you guys later." she said as she began walking to her next class.

The other two walked away after a wave goodbye and Tyler walked next to her, chatting with her until they reached the math classroom.

"Oh boy, here we go." she said with a nervous gulp.

The teacher's name was Roberta but she let everyone call her Mrs. Nunez or Robin. "Oh hello," she said upon two of her students' entering.

Crystal looked at the teacher for a second and relaxed a little. "Hi." she said.

There were some other students in the classroom. Tyler sat down next to Crystal.

Crytsal pulled out her notebook and doodled in there for a little bit before class started.
