Crystal walked into the cafeteria.

Tyler waved her over.

Crystal went over to him and sat down next to him with her lunch box.

"So, I hear that Ethan was acting really strangely," Tyler said to no one in particular.
Skylar and Amber nodded. -
"I don't know why, he must've taken some liking to me." said Crystal, taking a sip of her orange juice.

"Ethan never takes a liking," Tyler said. "To anyone. He's the kind of guy you don't cross for fear you're going to wind up dead in the dumpster."

Crystal shivered. "He sounds scary. Maybe he changed?" she said.

"Nuh-uh," Skylar said. "There's no way." -
"Well then why was he so upset when I got hurt. He obviously must be sick or something." said Crystal.

"That's why we thought there was something going on between you two," Amber said.

Crystal turned red. "T-There is nothing going between us! We're just friends!" she exclaimed.

The three of them looked at each other then back at Crystal with a look of shock on their faces.

Crystal did a facepalm. "You don't believe that he likes me, do you? It would be entirely impossible." she said.

"There is absolutely no other explanation," Amber said.
Skylar squealed.
Tyler and Amber knew that squeal. "No," they both said.
